Provided are a solid oxide fuel cell and a method of manufacturing the same. The solid oxide fuel cell in which at least one or more unit modules are stacked and integrated with each other includes first and second solid electrolyte layers in which each of the unit modules includes a plurality of fuel electrodes spaced a predetermined distance from each other and each having a strip shape and first and second supports each including a plurality of slits each having the same strip shape as that of each of the fuel electrodes. The first and second solid electrolyte layers overlap with each other on lower and upper sides of the first support so that the fuel electrodes face each other within the slits of the first support, and the second support overlaps with a lower side of the first or second solid electrolyte layer overlapping with the lower side of the first support so that the slits of the second support are disposed perpendicular to the slits of the first support. The slits of the first and second supports define fuel paths and air paths, respectively.

Solid oxide fuel cells and manufacturing method thereof

A glass-free microwave dielectric ceramic that can be sintered at low temperature is provided. The glass-free microwave dielectric ceramic composition includes (MM')NBO(wherein M and M&#x2032; are different each other, each being one among Ba, Ca and Sr; N is one among Sn, Zr and Ti; and 0&#x3c;x&#x3c;1), M(NN&#x2032;)BO(wherein M is one among Ba, Ca and Sr; N and N&#x2032; are different from each other, each being one among Sn, Zr and Ti; and 0&#x3c;y&#x3c;l), or (MM&#x2032;)(N)BO(wherein M and M&#x2032; are different from each other, each being one among Ba, Ca and Sr; N and N&#x2032; are different from each other, each being one among Sn, Zr and Ti; 0&#x3c;x&#x3c;1; and 0&#x3c;y&#x3c;l). In addition, the glass-free microwave dielectric ceramic composition may further includes approximately 1 wt % to approximately 7 wt % of a sintering aid represented by a formula, 0.12CuO+0.88BiO. As such, the glass-free microwave dielectric ceramic composition may be sintered at a low temperature at lowest 875&#xb0; C.

Glass-free microwave dielectric ceramics and the manufacturing method thereof

A low temperature sinterable dielectric ceramic composition, as well as a multilayer ceramic chip capacitor and a ceramic electronic device. The dielectric ceramic composition comprises a major composition represented by the general formula: x{&#x3b1;BaO, (1&#x2212;&#x3b1;)SrO}-y{SiO}-z{(1&#x2212;&#x3b2;)ZrO, &#x3b2; AlO} (wherein x, y and z are weight percentages; x+y+z=100, 55&#x2266;x&#x2266;75, 10&#x2266;y&#x2266;35, and 5&#x2266;z&#x2266;30, &#x3b1; and &#x3b2; are moles; 0.4&#x2266;&#x3b1;&#x2266;0.8, and 0.01&#x2266;&#x3b2;&#x2266;0.07) and 2 to 10 parts by weight of a Zn&#x2014;B-silicate glass composition, per 100 parts by weight of the major composition. The multilayer ceramic chip capacitor and a multilayer ceramic circuit board for the electronic device comprise a plurality of dielectric ceramic layers, internal electrodes arrayed inside the dielectric ceramic layers, and outer electrodes electrically connected to the internal electrodes, characterized in that the dielectric ceramic layer is a sintered body of the dielectric ceramic composition mentioned above, and the internal electrode is made of a conductive base metal material.

Low temperature sinterable dielectric ceramic composition, multilayer ceramic chip capacitor and ceramic electronic device

Disclosed is a nonreducible dielectric composition. Provided is a highly reliable TC based dielectric composition prepared by adding a sintering additive having excellent qualities to a conventional (CaSr)(ZrTi)Obased dielectric composition, so that it can be sintered under a reducing atmosphere to be used in formation of a nickel electrode, can be sintered at a temperature of less than 1,300&#xb0; C., and even more, at a low temperature of 1,250&#xb0; C., and has a small dielectric loss and a high resistivity. The composition of the present invention includes a nonreducible dielectric composition comprising a main component expressed by the general formula, (CaSr)(ZrTi)O, which has the ranges of 0&#x2266;x&#x2266;1, 0&#x2266;y&#x3c;0.09, and 0.7&#x2266;m&#x2266;1.05; and 0.5-10 wt % of a minor component expressed by the general formula, aMnO-bSiO-dRO-eRO(a+b+d+e=100, Ris at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba, and Ris at least one element of Zr and Ti), which has the ranges of 20&#x2266;a&#x2266;60, 10&#x2266;b&#x2266;65, and 0&#x3c;(d+e)&#x2266;65.

Nonreducible dielectric ceramic composition

Disclosed is a nonreducible dielectric composition. Provided is a highly reliable TC based dielectric composition prepared by adding a sintering additive having excellent qualities to a conventional (Ca Sr ) (Zr Ti )O based dielectric composition, so that it can be sintered under a reducing atmosphere to be used in formation of a nickel electrode, can be sintered at a low temperature of less than 1,250&deg; C., and has a small dielectric loss and a high resistivity. The composition of the present invention includes a nonreducible dielectric composition comprising a main component expressed by the general formula, (Ca Sr ) (Zr Ti )O , which has the ranges of 0&lE;x&lE;1, 0.09&lE;y&lE;0.35, and 0.7&lE;m&lE;1.05; and 0.5-10 wt % of a minor component expressed by the general formula, aMnO-bSiO -dR O-eR O (a&plus;b&plus;d&plus;e&equals;100, R is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba, and R is at least one element of Zr and Ti), which has the ranges of 20&lE;a&lE;60, 10&lE;b&lE;65, and 0&lE;(d&plus;e)&lE;65.

The present invention provides a dielectric ceramic composition, a capacitor using the composition and the producing method, of having a lower dielectric loss and a stable characteristics in high frequency bandwidth, and enabling to use a base metal or a carbon-based material as an electrode material by allowing sintering at a low temperature, thereby resulting in lower cost. The dielectric ceramic composition according to present invention, is characterized in comprising a main component of formula Sr Mg (Xr Ti ) O (where 0.8&lE;x&lE;1; 0.9&lE;y&lE;1) to which MnO of 0.05-15 wt %, at least one of 0.001-5 wt % selected from the group consisting of Bi O , PbO and Sb O and a glass component of 0.5-15 wt % are added based on the weight of the main component.

Dielectric ceramic composition, ceramic capacitor using the composition and method of producing thereof

The present invention provides a dielectric ceramic composition, a capacitor using the composition and the producing method, of having a lower dielectric loss and a stable characteristics in high frequency bandwidth, and enabling to use a base metal or a carbon-based material as an electrode material by allowing sintering at a low temperate, thereby resulting in lower cost. The dielectric ceramic composition according to present invention, is characterized in comprising a main component of formula Sr Ba (Zr Ti ) O (where 0.8&lE;x&lE;1; 0.9&lE;y&lE;1) to which MnO of 0.05-15 wt %, at least one of 0.001-5 wt % selected from the group consisting of Bi O PbO and Sb O and a glass component of 0.5-15 wt % are added based on the weight of the main component.

The dielectric ceramic composition according to present invention, is characterized in comprising a component of formula Sr Ca (Zr Ti )0 (where 0.7&lE;x&lE;1; 0.9&lE;y&lE;1) to which MnO of 0.05-20 wt %, at least one of 0.001-5 wt % selected from tie group consisting of Bi O , PbO and Sb O and a glass component of 0.5-10 wt % are added based on the weight of the main component.

Disclosed is a method for the preparation of 3-(hydroxyphenylphosphinyl)-propanoic acid which is commonly used as a flame retardant for polyester resins. The preparation of 3-(hydroxyphenylphosphinyl)-propanoic acid is attained by the condensation of phenylphosphonous dichloride and acrylic acid and the hydrolysis of the condensate. In the condensation, the mole ratio of phenylphosphonous dichloride to acrylic acid is within the range of 1:1.1 to 1:1.25. Under a pressure of greater than 1 atm, acrylic acid is added at 65.about.110.degree.C. at an amount more by 10.about.25 mole % than that of phenylphosphonous dichloride and the condensation is carried out at a temperature of 70.about.100.degree. C. under at greater than 1 atm, to produce 3-(hydroxyphenylphosphinyl)-propanoic acid at high yields with desired color.
