A wearable communication system including an antenna pattern configured to transmit or receive a radio-frequency (RF) signal, a main board configured to control the wearable communication system, and a power supply unit configured to supply power to the main board, wherein the antenna pattern is spaced apart from the main board and the power supply unit.

A parallel coupled CPW line filter is provided, including a first and a second coupled lines arranged on one side of an insulating body and connected in parallel with each other, and a ground arranged on the same plane as the first and the second coupled lines, comprising a pair of ground parts spaced apart from the first and the second coupled lines, respectively, the ground parts each comprising recesses sunken from areas close to the first and the second coupled lines.

Parallel coupled CPW line filter

A parallel coupled line filter is miniaturized by using lumped capacitors and grounding the capacitors. The parallel coupled line filter includes a parallel coupled line, a first capacitor connected to one of two input ports of the parallel coupled line, and a second capacitor connected to one of two output ports of the parallel coupled line. The parallel coupled filter can be miniaturized to a desirable size, on the basis of relatively simple theoretical knowledge. The parallel coupled line filter exhibits excellent frequency selectivity and improved harmonic characteristics.

Miniaturized parallel coupled line filter using lumped capacitors and grounding and fabrication method thereof

An apparatus and method for high-resolution reflectometry that operates simultaneously in both the time and frequency domains, utilizing time-frequency signal analysis and a chirp signal multiplied by a Gaussian time envelope. The Gaussian envelope provides time localization, while the chirp allows one to excite the system under test with a swept sinewave covering a frequency band of interest. High resolution in detection of the reflected signal is provided by a time-frequency cross correlation function. The high-accuracy localization of faults in a wire/cable can be achieved by measurement of time delay offset obtained from the frequency offset of the reflected signal. The apparatus enables one to execute an automated diagnostic procedure of a wire/cable under test by control of peripheral devices.
