A washing machine includes a casing, a tub installed within the casing, a cover coupled to the top of the casing and having an opening for introduction of laundry, a control panel attached to the cover to enable selection of a washing mode, and a lower electric component located below the tub, such as a drive device. The washing machine may be manufactured to further include an integrated wire harness having one side coupled to the control panel and the other side coupled to the lower electric component for transmission of an electrical signal, and a guide provided at an upper edge of the casing such that the wire harness is fixed to and extends along the guide. The integrated wire harness may achieve reduction of manufacturing costs and prevent fire of the washing machine due to insulation breakage.

Washing machine and assembly method thereof

A stator of an alternating current (AC) motor is disclosed. The stator includes a stator core having a divided structure including and an outer stator core fitted around the inner stator core while being connected to an inner circumference of the inner stator core. The inner stator core has a rotor insertion hole formed at the inner circumference of the inner stator core and a plurality of tooth members arranged in a circumferential direction at an outer circumference of the inner stator core. Since the coils are wound directly on the tooth members through intervals between the neighboring tooth members at the outer circumference of the inner stator core, manufacturing of the stator is facilitated. In addition, since insertion of the coils into the slots is not performed through gaps formed on an inner side of the inner stator core where the rotor insertion hole is formed, the gaps may be minimized. As a result, the performance of the AC motor is improved.

A composite cooking apparatus having a body, a heating unit, an induction heating unit, and an insulating plate. The heating unit is positioned in the body to generate heat used to heat food. The induction heating unit is positioned adjacent to the heating unit to generate a magnetic field to cook the food by induction heating. The insulating plate is positioned between the heating unit and the induction heating unit to prevent heat generated from the heating unit from being transmitted to the induction heating unit. Further, the insulating plate is provided with at least one heat reflecting layer to reflect the heat generated from the heating unit.

Composite cooking apparatus

A composite cooking apparatus having a body, a heating unit, and an induction heating unit. The heating unit is positioned in the body to generate heat used to heat food. The induction heating unit is positioned adjacent to the heating unit to generate a magnetic field to cook the food by induction heating. The induction heating unit has at least one wire, a coating of which is exposed to an electron beam to strengthen a heat resistance thereof.

A storage container designed such that a locking unit to removably lock a cover to a body has a plurality of locking positions, thus allowing a storage space for storing items to be variable. The locking unit includes a locking member and a rotary member. The locking member is provided at a side of the cover. The rotary member is rotatably mounted at a side of the body, and has a plurality of locking holes. The locking holes are arranged on the rotary member along a vertical direction. When the locking member is inserted into a lowermost hinge hole, the storage space has a minimum volume. When the locking member is inserted into an uppermost hinge hole, the storage space has a maximum volume. When the locking member is inserted into a middle hinge hole, the storage space has a middle volume.

An electric cooking apparatus and a method of controlling the same are disclosed. The electric cooking apparatus includes heating units, a switching unit, a current detecting unit and a control unit. The heating units each having a heating element and electrodes connected to the heating element. The switching unit switches power to be applied to the electrodes. The current detecting unit detects values of current output from the heating units. The control unit operates a predetermined number of the heating units, which are determined according to the values of current detected from the current detecting unit after operating the heating units.

Electric cooking apparatus and method of controlling the same

A heating cooker capable of evenly supplying steam from a steam generator into a cooking cavity. The heating cooker includes a cooking cavity, a steam generator to supply steam into the cooking cavity, and food racks installed in the cooking cavity to support food thereon. Each of the food racks is fabricated with a pipe having a plurality of steam discharging holes so that the steam is fed into each of the food racks. Thus, the heating cooker allows the steam to be distributed through entire portions of the food racks to allow the steam to be evenly discharged into the cooking cavity.

A BICMOS device and manufacturing method wherein the gates of PMOS and NMOS transistors are formed by forming a first polysilicon layer which is not implanted by an impurity and forming a second polysilicon layer on the first polysilicon layer which is impurity implanted, so that the impurity doped in the second polysilicon layer is prevented from diffusing into the channel region and the voltage characteristic is prevented from changing. Emitter regions of vertical PNP and NPN bipolar transistors are self-aligned in a small chip area, and thereby the performance of the BICMOS device is improved due to the stable threshold voltage characteristic of the PMOS and NMOS transistors and high density is achieved together with improved operation speed clue to the self-alignment formation of the emitter region of the vertical PNP and NPN bipolar transistors.
