By controlling shapes of internal electrodes, when short-circuit occurs between the internal electrodes, a short-circuited portion may be opened by an overcurrent, to serve as a fuse. Also, by controlling shapes of internal electrodes, equivalent series inductance (ESL) at a high frequency may be reduced.

Multilayer electronic component

A multilayer electronic component includes a body including a first internal electrode and a second internal electrode alternately disposed in a first direction with a dielectric layer interposed therebetween, and including a first surface and a second surface opposing each other in the first direction, a third surface and a fourth surface opposing each other in a second direction, and a fifth surface and a sixth surface opposing each other in a third direction. A first external electrode is disposed on the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth surfaces. A second external electrode is disposed on one or more of the first and second surfaces, and a via electrode is exposed through a surface on which the second external electrode is disposed. A ratio W/L is 0.95 or more and 1.05 or less, where L is a length of the body and W is a width of the body.

A multilayer electronic component includes a body including dielectric layers, and first and second internal electrodes alternately stacked in a first direction, and having first and second surfaces opposing each other in the first direction, third and fourth surfaces connected to the first and second surfaces and opposing each other in a second direction, and fifth and sixth surfaces connected to the first to fourth surfaces and opposing each other in a third direction, a resistor disposed on the second surface, a via electrode exposed to the second surface and connecting the second internal electrode and the resistor to each other, a first external electrode disposed on the third surface and connected to the first internal electrode, and a second external electrode disposed on the fourth surface and connected to the resistor.

Multilayered electronic component

A composite electronic component includes a composite body that includes a multilayer ceramic capacitor and a ceramic chip coupled to each other. The multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a first ceramic body in which a plurality of dielectric layers and internal electrodes disposed to face each other with respective dielectric layers interposed therebetween are stacked, and first and second external electrodes are disposed on both end portions of the first ceramic body. The ceramic chip is disposed on a lower portion of the multilayer ceramic capacitor and includes a second ceramic body and first and second terminal electrodes disposed on both end portions of the second ceramic body and connected to the first and second external electrodes, respectively. A plurality of electrodes are disposed in the second ceramic body.

Composite electronic component and board having the same

A capacitor component includes: a body having a first main surface and a second main surface facing each other in a thickness direction and side surfaces facing each other in a length direction and connected to the first and second main surfaces, the body including a plurality of dielectric layers and a plurality of internal electrodes stacked in the thickness direction and alternately exposed through the side surfaces of the body with each of the plurality of dielectric layers interposed therebetween; and external electrodes disposed on the side surfaces and the second main surface of the body and electrically connected to the plurality of internal electrodes.

Capacitor component

The invention relates to a power supply for a liquid crystal display using a light emitting diode for a backlight unit, and more particularly, to a power supply combining a DC power supply outside the liquid crystal display with a driving power supply inside the liquid crystal display into a single power supply. The power supply for a liquid crystal display according to an aspect of the invention may include: a power conversion section converting commercial AC power into at least one operating power having a predetermined voltage level through a switching operation; a backlight driving section switching the operating power from the power conversion section into backlight driving power; and a power switching control section controlling the switching operation of the power conversion section on the basis of a first feedback signal having a voltage level of the operating power from the power conversion section and a second feedback signal having a voltage level of the backlight driving power from the backlight driving section, wherein the power conversion section, the backlight driving section and the power switching control section are mounted on a single printed circuit board.

Power supply for liquid crystal display

There is provided a multi-stage power supply. A multi-stage power supply according to an aspect of the invention may include: a voltage converter circuit section including a plurality of first to n-th DC/DC converters connected in series between an input terminal and an output terminal, in order to supply a DC driving voltage to an LED array having a plurality of LEDs therein; a voltage detection section detecting an output voltage from the voltage converter circuit section; and a PWM control section generating a PWM control signal on the basis of a first detection voltage from the voltage detection section, a second detection voltage obtained by detecting current flowing through the LED array, and a third detection voltage obtained by detecting a current waveform flowing through an internal switch of the n-th DC/DC converter, and supplying the PWM control signal to each of the first through n-th DC/DC converters.

Multi-stage power supply

There is provided a power supply for a light emitting diode display using a light emitting diode as a backlight unit that unites a DC power supply provided from outside the light emitting diode display and a driving power supply provided inside the light emitting diode display. A power supply of a light emitting diode display according to an aspect of the invention may include: a power conversion unit converting commercial AC power into at least one driving power having a predetermined voltage level; and a backlight driving unit generating a backlight driving signal using the driving power from the power conversion unit, wherein the power conversion unit and the backlight driving unit are mounted onto one printed circuit board.

Power supply for light emitting diode display

There is provided a backlight driving system for a liquid crystal display that can reduce size and weight of a product because a DC-DC converter is not used when commercial AC power is converted into lamp driving power. A backlight driving system for a liquid crystal display according to an aspect of the invention includes a power supply unit converting commercial alternating current (AC) power into direct current (DC) power having a voltage level set beforehand, an inverter unit converting the DC power from the power supply unit into AC power at a one-to-one conversion ratio set beforehand, a boosting unit boosting the AC power from the inverter unit into lamp lighting power set beforehand; and a lamp group receiving the lamp lighting power from the boosting unit to emit light.
