A vehicle door comprising a door shell, a module, and door hardware components attached on the door module. The door shell comprises an outer belt reinforcement, an outer panel and an inner panel having a hinge and a latch member. The module comprises a core member having two metal plates thereby to receive the hardware components. The hardware components which are attached to the module are an exterior door release, an interior door release, a latch mechanism, a window regulator mechanism, and a trim panel. Thus, the module is adapted to permit pre-assembly and pre-testing of major sub-assemblies.

Automobile door modular assembly

The disclosure relates to an automobile door and the method of assembly thereof to be mounted in a door frame of an automobile. The invention comprises a gripping assembly on the window releasably interacting with an outer belt reinforcement member to stop and locate a bottom edge of the window. The door assembly further comprises an adjustment module whereby the upper edge of the window may be positioned flush to the outer door frame.

A manikin with a disposable lung is used as a tool for teaching cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The manikin includes a head, chest, disposable lung, and compression device. The head includes a 'mouth' opening to receive air blown into it by a user, and the chest is removably connected to the head. The disposable lung is removably connected to the head in communication with the mouth opening. The compression device preferably is a resilient dowel like member which extends vertically through the manikin chest, having a stop which positively prevents resilient compression of more than a certain amount.

This invention relates to a spineboard and parts thereof adapted for securement and transport of a person who may have suffered a spinal injury. The spineboard consists of a board having at least one longitudinal track adapted to receive in slidable connection at least one body harness and having means to secure a head harness; at least one body harness having a pad adapted to lie over the track and having at least one strapping means adapted to engage the track in slidable connection and to encircle and to secure a person to the board; and a head harness adapted to be located on the board.
