This technology relates to a condensation reduction system for a sensor. The system may comprise a sensor cover, wherein the sensor cover is configured to house one or more sensor components, a flexible, external chamber, and a conduit. The external chamber may be communicably coupled to an interior of the sensor cover via the conduit configured such that during an increase of pressure of gas within the sensor cover the gas flows to the external chamber via the conduit and during a decrease in the pressure of gas within the sensor cover the gas flows from the external chamber to the sensor cover via the conduit.

Sensor condensation prevention

Speakers (e.g. 'loudspeakers') from different manufactures may have differing characteristics. In order to improve audio performance, an audio system may customize audio settings based on characteristics of an attached speaker. Described is a technique for determining speaker characteristics by sending a signal through a filter of the attached speaker. The signal may be a probing signal that produces no audible effect from the speaker. The signal may progress through one or more frequency ranges and an impedance signature may be measured. When the signal progresses through a frequency range, the impedance may be measured and a speaker model type and/or characteristics or condition of the speaker may be determined based on the measured impedance.

A system for protecting a pedestrian during impact with a vehicle, the system having a bumper adapted for attachment to an end of the vehicle, wherein the bumper is comprised of a plurality of air sacs, wherein the bumper has a horizontal thickness extends from the end of the vehicle, wherein at least some of the plurality of air sacs stretch and then burst during impact between the bumper and a pedestrian causing deceleration along the horizontal width of the bumper during the impact, wherein the bumper undergoes plastic deformation during impact with the pedestrian as the at least some of the air sacs burst during impact, and wherein the bursting of some of the plurality of air sacs reduces spring back of the bumper on the pedestrian.
