Efficient poll response frame

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced feedback for secure mode wireless communications. A device may send a first null data packet (NDP) to a second device, and identify a second NDP received from the second device. The device may identify a location measurement report (LMR) received from the second device, the LMR including a first channel response indicative of a first arrival time of the first NDP at the second device and a first phase shift associated with the first NDP. The device may generate a second channel response indicative of a second arrival time of the second NDP at the device and a second phase shift associated with the second NDP. The device may determine that the first channel response does not match the second channel response, and may identify an attempted attack.

Enhanced feedback for secure mode wireless communications

The disclosure provides some embodiments for securing long training field (LTF) sequence. A responding station (RSTA) configures a location management report (LMR) frame. The LMR frame is configured to include an LMR in respect of a previous measurement, and data to be used to generate a null data packet (NDP) for a current measurement that is to be performed following the previous measurement. The RSTA further encrypts the LMR frame using protected management frames (PMF) scheme, and transmits the encrypted LMR frame to an initiating station (ISTA) for generating an LTF sequence for the current measurement. In response to receiving an NDP announcement (NDPA) and an NDP for the current measurement from the ISTA, the RSTA generates an NDP for the current measurement based on the NDPA and the data using CCMP, and transmits the NDP to the ISTA.

Encryption of management frames for securing long training field sequence generation and scheme for transmitting sounding signal indications

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to secure location measurement sharing. A device may cause to send a first indication associated with a location of the device to a cloud server. The device may cause to send a second indication associated with a ranging information of an access point (AP), wherein the AP is connected to the cloud server. The device may identify an access token received from the cloud server, wherein the access token is associated with providing anonymized AP location information to the AP, and wherein the access token is associated with accessing channel allocation from a channel access database.

Secure location measurement sharing

Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for channel state information for multiple access points are disclosed. Channel station information (CSI) may be coordinated for multiple access points (APs) where one AP may act as a master AP with other AP acting as slave APs. The channel station information may be based on information from null data packets received by stations from multiple-APs, which may enable a multi-AP coordinated beamforming (CBF) to be determined based on the received first CSI reports. New frame formats are disclosed that include fields for including APs. Overlapping basic service set (OBSS) stations may respond to APs that are not within their BSS. Some embodiments relate to passive range finding in a multi-AP sounding where location configuration information (LCI) changes for one of the APs.

Channel state information for multiple access points

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to null data packet (NDP) frame format. A device may cause to send a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame to a responding station device (RSTA). The device may cause to send a first sounding NDP frame comprising one or more fields formatted to support 2.4 gigahertz (GHz) and 5 GHz bands in a non-trigger-based ranging measurement with the RSTA.
