A system or computer usable program product for managing password strength including receiving a password on a data processing system for a user, filtering for personal information about the user from multiple independent data sources accessible across a computer network, computing the password strength by the data processing system using an algorithm which compares the password to the filtered personal information about the user, and presenting feedback to the user through a user interface on a data processing system display regarding the computed password strength.

A set of audio phrases and corresponding phrase characteristics can be maintained, such as in a database. The phrase characteristics can include a translation of speech in the associated audio phrase. A finite state grammar that includes a set of textual phrases can be received. A software algorithm can execute to compare the set of textual phrases against the translations associated with the maintained audio phrases. A result of the software algorithm execution can be produced, where the result indicates phrase coverage for the finite state grammar based upon the audio phrases.

The present invention discloses a solution for conserving computing resources when implementing transformation based adaptation techniques. The disclosed solution limits the amount of speech data used by real-time adaptation algorithms to compute a transformation, which results in substantial computational savings. Appreciably, application of a transform is a relatively low memory and computationally cheap process compared to memory and resource requirements for computing the transform to be applied.

Some embodiments of the inventive subject matter are directed to determining a first setting(s) for presentation of content on a display of a mobile device at a distance from a user. The first setting(s) are based on analysis of characteristics associated with the mobile device. The characteristics are related to a user, an environment external to the mobile device, and content presented via the mobile device. Some embodiments are further directed to detecting a change in one or more of the characteristics in response to presentation of the content on the mobile device. The change is an event that indicates that the first setting(s) are non-optimal for presentation of the content at the distance. Some embodiments are further directed to determining second settings for presentation of content at the distance from the user based on the change in the one or more characteristics.

Automatically modifying presentation of mobile-device content

A computer implemented method, system and/or computer program product dynamically display ancillary content on a webpage. A text entry is detected as an input to a find engine that locates and highlights the text entry within a main body of a webpage being displayed on a computer. A scope of the text entry is determined based on the textual context of the text entry and the type of webpage being displayed. An in-place adjustment is then utilized to automatically retrieve and display ancillary content on the webpage based on the textual context of the text entry and the type of webpage being displayed without refreshing the main body of the webpage.
