An end panel bracket useful with a building panel system is provided. The end panel bracket comprises a base, a middle portion extending from the base, a shelf extending from the middle portion, a notch, and a ledge.

Panel system and support member for use with the same

An integrated ceiling and light system that incorporates a light module into a ceiling tile. The system may include a grid support system suspended from an overhead support structure that includes at least one grid support element and first and second ceiling tiles supported by the grid support element in an adjacent manner. A nesting cavity may be formed into the first and second ceiling tiles such that a light module may be disposed within the nesting cavity and coupled to the first and second ceiling tiles. The ceiling tiles may be of the type that conceals the grid support element on which it is supported. In one alternative embodiment, the light module and a nesting region of the ceiling tile may include corresponding edge profiles to facilitate mating therebetween to enable coupling of the light source to the ceiling tile.

Integrated ceiling and light system

A building panel system is provided that includes a perimeter frame; a main beam attached to the perimeter frame; a carrier attached to the main beam, the carrier having a plurality of identical hook members, each of the hook members having a protruding hooking portion on only a first side of the hook member, and a non-hooking portion on a second side of the hook member, the second side being opposite the first side; and a plurality of panels removably attached to the carrier, each of the panels being attached to the carrier by engaging one of the hooking portions.

Architectual ceiling panel apparatus

A suspended ceiling system in one embodiment includes a ceiling panel and a mounting assembly. The mounting assembly includes a cable secured to a building support structure, a first coupler for attachment to the cable, and a second coupler for attachment to the ceiling panel. The first coupler includes a cable mounting channel having first and second openings and a cable adjustment mechanism for releasably gripping the cable. In one implementation, the adjustment mechanism includes a spring-biased plunger configured to engage the cable. The cable is routed through the channel from the first to second opening. The position of the cable with respect to the first coupler may be adjusted to select the desired position and angular orientation of the ceiling panel. In one embodiment, the first coupler includes ball element pivotably engaged with the second coupler to accommodate various angular positions of the panel and/or panel configurations.

Mounting apparatus for suspended ceiling system

A grid assembly for hanging a ceiling panel, and a ceiling system including the same, and a saddle bracket for use with the same. The grid assembly may comprise a grid support comprising a strut comprising a flange portion, a web portion, a bulb portion. The bulb portion may comprise an undersurface. The saddle bracket may comprise a horizontal locking feature, a vertical locking feature, a panel mounting feature, and a web receiving cavity. The saddle bracket may be mounted to the strut so that the vertical locking feature engages the undersurface of the bulb portion to vertically lock the saddle bracket to the strut and the horizontal locking feature of the saddle bracket may be alterable between locked and unlocked states.
