A device for polishing of a multi-surface workpiece is described. The device includes a base and a vertical motion platform that moves along two support rods, which carries a motor that drives a rotating shaft. The support rods extend from said base. A polishing tool is attached to the motor shaft. The workpiece being polished is placed on a linear motion stage during the polishing process.

Channel cut polishing machine

A deburring subassembly has a controller to generate an electrical current and move a deburring tool bit from a non-deburring position to a range of deburring positions. The electrical current permits deburring of the workpiece without damaging it. A workpiece securement subassembly secures the workpiece for formation on a computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tool and also holds the workpiece in place for deburring. The electrical current is provided to a deburring tool bit. The controller thereby controls movement of the deburring tool bit to the range of deburring positions and generates the electrical current to deburr the workpiece.

Portable micro-deburring component using micro-electrical discharge machining process

A micro-electrical discharge machine based metrology system including a control unit with a sensing circuit and a micro-electrical discharge machine with a sensing probe. The micro-electrical discharge machine based metrology system capable of sensing dimensions of a work piece at pico-joule energy levels. The micro-electrical discharge machine based metrology system is a non-contact, non-destructive, and on-board metrology system capable of in-process quality assurance/quality control.
