A modular load management system comprises one or more compact modules designed to fit in the wiring troughs of a standard AC distribution panel of a building. The modules include one or more input terminals to receive electrical power from one or more circuit breakers in the panel and deliver power to load circuits of the building via one or more output terminals. The modules contain at least one disconnect switch for disconnecting circuits from breakers in response to a remote or locally-generated control signal. The modules may also include current sensors on some or all terminals, such that power and energy flow may be monitored on a per-circuit basis.

Compact modular electrical load management system

A smart current transformer for determining primary current or power consumption, by stepping down the primary current to a secondary current for subsequent measurement by a connected meter. The current transformer is provided with a connected non-volatile memory for storing calibration data (and optionally identification data) regarding that particular current transformer. The calibration data can include the gain error and/or phase delay for the current transformer, as determined from prior calibration testing of the current transformer. The calibration data may be communicated to or otherwise determined by the meter, and used to calibrate the measurement of the secondary current, in order to determine the primary current or power consumption. Also disclosed is a system and method utilizing such a smart current transformer.

A method and system for use in creating a profile of, managing and understanding power consumption in a premise of a user, wherein said premise comprises two or more power consuming devices comprises measuring, via at least one sensor, aggregate energy consumption at the premise, receiving at a mobile computing device comprising a data processor, said aggregated signal from the sensor, collecting and recording the aggregate signal over a plurality of time resolutions and frequencies, therein to create a predicted aggregate signal for each time x and frequency y, detecting changes in the predicted aggregate signal at time x an frequency y (detected consumption pattern changes) and conveying to at least one of the user, a utility company, and other third party a notification of detected consumption pattern changes.

A method for modeling power usage within a macrogrid uses data relating to the behavioral patterns and states ('BA') of the users, data relating to external impacts on power usage and disaggregated power consumption data in at least one premises within the macrogrid (forming 'power usage model data') and thereafter a method of forecasting and predicting future power requirements within the macrogrid uses such power usage model data.

Method and system for forecasting power requirements using granular metrics

The mount allows an antenna to be fitted to an inaccessible side of a panel from an accessible side, through a knockout. An antenna and cable are first fitted to the mount. The mount has clips that can be squeezed inwards so that it can be inserted into the knockout, and then released so that they retain the mount from the far side of the panel. Stops on the mount prevent it from being inserted too far. The tabs may be squeezed with finger pressure only so that the mount can be fitted in restricted locations where access is difficult, such as in an electrical breaker box. The mount can easily be removed by squeezing the tabs.
