There are provided methods and systems for making or repairing a specified part. For example, there is provided a method for creating an optimized manufacturing process to make or repair the specified part. The method includes receiving by a system configured to make or repair the specified part and from a machine communicatively coupled with the system, a set of sensor data and/or inspection data associated with at least one of an additive and a reductive manufacturing or repair process or with at least one of a pre-treatment and a post-treatment step. The method includes creating an optimized manufacturing process to make or repair the specified part, the creating including. The method includes updating, in real time, a surrogate model corresponding with a physics-based model of the specified part, wherein the surrogate model forms a digital twin of the specified part. The method includes further updating the surrogate model with the sensor data and/or inspection data. The method includes executing, based on the digital twin, the optimized manufacturing process to either repair or make the specified part.

Systems and methods of planning and scheduling resources of an airline include using machine learning models to generate custom behavioral characteristics for a plurality of operational components of the airline based on operations data. The custom behavioral characteristics are used to define inputs and outcomes in simulations of the operational components of the airline. The simulation outputs performance indicators and a feedback loop captures previously ignored interactions between the operational components of the airline based on the performance indicators and custom behavioral characteristics of inputs and outcomes corresponding to the plurality of operational components of the airline.

The method includes determining one or more constraints from the plurality of sets of itineraries. The method includes applying the one or more constraints to the plurality of operations plan alternatives to determine an impact of the one or more constraints to the plurality of operations plan alternatives on the sets of itineraries. The method includes determining an operations plan comprising a schedule for the plurality of flights.

Systems and methods for rescheduling airline passengers

An airline operations system, controller and method reschedules flights affected by a disruption that precludes a planned schedule for the flights. The method includes obtaining data related to a scheduled origination and a scheduled destination for each of a set of passengers scheduled on the flights, generating a passenger connection network of connections between the scheduled origination and the scheduled destination for a subset of the set of passengers, applying at least one criterion to the passenger connection network and rescheduling at least one connecting flight based on the criteria. The system and controller solves a network flow problem to reschedule a subset of connecting flights to have a delayed projected departure time. Resulting output can include the set of delayed flights along with modified projected departure times, a set of flight cancellations and a set of passengers with missed connections.

Method and system for robust network planning optimization of airline flight operations

The system comprises a data acquisition module operable to acquire aircraft systems data, a data archiving module operable to store aircraft systems data and a data analysis module operable to analyse the aircraft systems data to identify non-predetermined troubleshooting procedures for fault rectification. Automated identification of improved maintenance techniques can thus be provided, with the added benefit that maintenance manuals and procedures may thereby be automatically adapted over time.
