Data centric smart manufacturing systems are described. In an embodiment, the data centric smart manufacturing system includes several systems providing raw data, several reusable data model profiles that ingest the raw data and contextualize the raw data, where a data model profile defines contextualized data, configurations, and data connectivity protocols for a particular type of system, and several data transformation models integrated with the data model profiles and instantiated with contextualized data to provide higher level operational insights.

Provided herein are techniques related to an industrial system that may have a plurality of industrial automation devices, a database that has a plurality of location datasets that correspond to the plurality of industrial automation devices, and a monitoring system that may communicate with the industrial automation devices via a network and the database. The monitoring system may send a first request to the industrial automation devices in the industrial system to identify an industrial automation device having an active maintenance status. The active maintenance status may be indicative of a maintenance request for the industrial automation device. The monitoring system may send a second request to the database for a location dataset associated with the industrial automation device, generate a visualization that includes the active maintenance status and the location dataset associated with the industrial automation device, and display the visualization via an electronic display.

An industrial controller within an industrial automation environment is provided. The industrial controller includes a programming logic controller, configured to control an industrial device, and a predictive module, coupled with the programming logic controller. The predictive module is configured to receive configuration data from the programming logic controller, create a user-defined controller tag, and transfer the user-defined controller tag to the programming logic controller. The predictive module is also configured to receive operational data from the programming logic controller, and calculate operation monitoring data and value estimation data based on the operational data. The predictive module is further configured to write the operation monitoring data and value estimation data to the user-defined controller tag.

A conversation interface system provides remote access to manufacturing operation information using plain language message exchange. A cloud-based conversation interface service is exposed to an instant messaging application, and receives plain language queries from via the instant messaging application's interface requesting information relating to one or more industrial systems. The cloud-based system synchronizes the queries to one or more on-premise conversation interface agent devices residing at one or more plant facilities. The on-premise agent devices translate the queries and apply the translated queries to local sources of manufacturing operation data. The on-premise agent devices then generate and return response messages based on the retrieved information, and the cloud-based system directs the response messages the originators of the queries via the instant messaging interface.

A layered industrial analytics architecture enables the flow of information from intelligent assets into tools and engines that perform analytics and enable decision-making in substantially real-time. The analytics architecture comprises analytic nodes that are distributed across multiple layers of an industrial enterprise, and includes system features that optimize movement of data across this layered architecture. Each analytic node includes base architectural constructs that host various analytic, data acquisition, and storage elements. These base constructs can operate autonomously, or in conjunction with other instances of base constructs or other elements of the control system. The system design uses a multi-platform compatible implementation that allows the base elements to be deployed on various different computing platforms.

The drum pedal stabilizer is designed to eliminate the problems of beater dropout, pedal and beater oscillation, drum head retrigger, tempo influence and jitter feel on drum pedals and beaters. Specifically, the present invention is directed to a stabilizer having a mounting plate and a gas spring adapted for attachment to a drum pedal to counteract oscillation of the conventional helical spring. The stabilizer may be an aftermarket attachment to conventional drum pedals, or may be incorporated as original equipment in new drum pedal assemblies.
