Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to streaming interactive content from a native application executing at an artificial reality (XR) device into an artificial reality environment and/or to nearby XR device(s). A shell environment at an XR system can manage the software components of the system. The shell environment can include a shell application and a three-dimensional shell XR environment displayed to a user. An additional application, natively executing at the XR system, can provide a host version of content and a remote version of content. A two-dimensional virtual object displayed in the shell XR environment can display the host version of the content, and the remote version of the content can be streamed to a remote XR system. The remote XR system can display the remote content within another two-dimensional virtual object, for example in another shell XR environment displayed by the remote XR system.

Streaming native application content to artificial reality devices

Aspects of an application program's execution which might be subject to non-determinism are performed in a deterministic manner while the application program's execution is being recorded in a virtual machine environment so that the application program's behavior, when played back in that virtual machine environment, will duplicate the behavior that the application program exhibited when originally executed and recorded. Techniques disclosed herein take advantage of the recognition that only minimal data needs to be recorded in relation to the execution of deterministic operations, which actually can be repeated 'verbatim' during replay, and that more highly detailed data should be recorded only in relation to non-deterministic operations, so that those non-deterministic operations can be deterministically simulated (rather than attempting to re-execute those operations under circumstances where the outcome of the re-execution might differ) based on the detailed data during replay.

Ensuring determinism during programmatic replay in a virtual machine

User profile information is generated which characterizes measured user interaction with an application program that is encapsulated by the computer readable program code and processed by the processor. Operation of an advertisement displayed while the application program is being processed is controlled based on the user profile information.

Adapting user terminal advertisements responsive to measured user behavior

A method and system for displaying application performance data. In an embodiment, performance data is collected from an application during display by the application of a first display window. Performance data is also collected from the application during display by the application of a second display window. On a display device, an image of the first display window is displayed that includes a first displayable performance indicator that is visually modifiable to correlate to variations in performance data collected from the application. On the display device, an image of the second display window is simultaneously displayed with the image of the first display window. The simultaneously displayed image of the second display window includes a second displayable performance indicator that is visually modifiable to correlate to variations in performance data collected from the application.

A method includes performing operations as follows on a processor that include receiving metrics reported by user terminals via a data network. The metrics indicating a measured operation of an application program processed by the user terminals. The operations further include determining when a collection of the metrics received from across the user terminals satisfies a rule for modifying metric reporting, and communicating a metric reporting modification command to the user terminals, based on the collection of the metrics received from across the user terminals satisfying the rule for modifying metric reporting, to control future metrics reported by the user terminals for the measured operation of the application program. Systems and methods may include monitoring data input to and output from an application on a mobile device. Such systems and methods may include storing meta-data, which describes a behavior of the data input to and output from the application, on the mobile device. Such systems and methods may include determining whether a behavior of the application is anomalous based on the meta-data stored on the mobile device. Such systems and methods may include providing detailed data, which includes the data input to and output from the application, to another device in response to determining that the behavior of the application is anomalous based on the meta-data stored on the mobile device.

Real-time recording and monitoring of mobile applications

A method and system for displaying application performance data. In an embodiment, performance data collected from an application is logically associated with a display window generated by the application. A displayable performance indicator determined. The displayable performance indicator is visually modifiable to correlate to variations in the performance data. A performance category selection signal and a data collection filter metric selection signal are received by a performance analytics display module. The display module simultaneously displays, on a display device, an indicator of a performance category based on the performance selection signal, an indicator of a data collection filter metric based on the filter metric selection signal, and an image of the display window that includes the performance indicator.

A method may include receiving, via a content sharing module, a request to find a content sharing collaborator. The method may include receiving context information of the request. A replay core ensures that references to objects are removed at the same relative times and in the same relative order within a program's execution during both record time and replay time. A register method of a Finalizer class is modified to cause the register method to pass, to a specified programmatic mechanism, an object that was passed to the register method; modifying a finalize method of a class of the object to (a) cause the object to invoke a first method of the programmatic mechanism when the finalize method is invoked by a virtual machine and (b) prevent a remainder of the finalize method from completing under specified conditions, thereby causing a call to the finalize method to remain undispatched. The first method, when invoked, (a) adds, to the object, a reference that temporarily prevents the object from being deleted and (b) records an identifier of the object.

A method includes monitoring metrics at a mobile computing device. A substantive change in operating conditions is identified, based upon the monitored metrics. In response to the substantive change in the operating conditions, a smart container is automatically applied to a particular resource of the computing device. The smart container may define an enhanced security access policy. In accordance with a particular embodiment of the disclosure, the enhanced security access policy increases the level of protection to the resource.

In an embodiment, a data processing system comprises a storage system coupled to a unit under test comprising a heap memory, a static memory and a stack; second logic operable to perform: detecting one or more changes in a first state of the heap memory and the static memory; storing, in the storage system, as a state point of the unit under test, the one or more changes in the first state of the heap memory and the static memory; third logic operable to perform: receiving a request to change the memory under test to a particular state point; in response to the request, loading the particular state point from the storage system and applying the particular state point to the heap memory and the static memory to result in changing the heap memory and the static memory to a second state that is substantially equivalent to the first state.
