A system and method for generating and representing a consolidated resolution tree of a network are provided. The method includes receiving a target fully qualified domain name (FQDN); creating at least one tentative equivalence class (TEC) containing all the internet root domain name servers (DNS); processing the at least one TEC to determine respective consolidated edges and vertices; retrieving nameservers from domain registration records; determining whether additional TECs are to be generated for the retrieved nameserver(s); processing all new TECs to determine respective consolidated edges and vertices, when it is determined that new TECs are to be generated; and generating a resolution tree for display based on the consolidated edges and vertices.

System and method for generation of simplified domain name server resolution trees

A computerized system for detecting connections in a network, including one or more data collectors configured to collect connection data from the network, one or more connection analyzers configured to analyze the connection data and extract connection dependencies, which include a connecting resource that depends on the existence of a connected resource and a connection type, a connection table that stores the connection dependencies, an interface that is configured to provide access to the connection table to retrieve a list of connecting resources that depend on accessing a given connected resource.

Connection detection and prevention of dangling connections

A distributed clinical trial system that provides configurability, reusability and integration of randomization and inventory configurations for different clinical trials with various electronic data capture (EDC) systems. The distributed clinical trial system includes a method of randomizing subjects in a multi-arm clinical trial. In accordance with a method, a subject identifier and a trial identifier are received from an EDC system. The trial identifier indicates the multi-arm clinical trial and the subject identifier indicates a subject enrolled in the multi-arm clinical trial. A randomization design previously configured for the multi-arm clinical trial is retrieved from a database based on the received trial identifier. The subject identifier is assigned to an arm identifier of the multi-arm clinical trial based on the randomization design. The arm identifier indicates an arm of the multi-arm clinical trial to which the subject has been assigned.
