A gathering apparatus for selectively bringing together edges or sides of a film for wrapping around a bale includes a pair of gathering elements which cooperate with a respective edge of the film and which are movable by a drive. The drive is actuated by a motor and a reduction gear. The gathering elements are moved relative to the film in a lateral direction between an out-of-operation position and an operating position, in order to gather the film as required. A holding apparatus serves the gathering elements in the operating position.

A round baler includes a housing which has a housing part and an ejection flap which is pivotably mounted on this housing part about a bearing axis, and drivable pressing means which are allocated to the housing part and the ejection flap and which define a pressing chamber on the peripheral side, wherein the ejection flap is adjustable by means of a first adjusting apparatus such that when the ejection flap is opened an ejection opening is able to be formed between the housing part and the ejection flap and a dimension of the ejection flap is adjustable. The housing part comprises a retaining roller. The retaining roller is arranged so as to be adjustable between a resting position and a working position in which the retaining roller adopts a position disposed within the ejection opening.

Round baler

A bale wrapping device for a round baler includes a wrapping material roller having a wrapping material. The wrapping material roller is able to be brought into engagement with a brake roller, and a cutting apparatus for cutting off the wrapping material from the wrapping material roller. A brake apparatus cooperates with the brake roller, and is actuatable by the cutting apparatus such that a rotational movement of the brake roller is able to be braked by the brake apparatus.

A bale wrapping device for a round baler includes a drive roller by which a wrapping material is able to be unrolled from a wrapping material roller. The drive roller is connected to a drive and brake apparatus. The drive and brake apparatus is connected to a brake belt which is able to be tensioned in a variable manner. The bale wrapping device further comprises a tensioning lever apparatus and the brake belt is connected to the tensioning lever apparatus. The pre-tensioning of the brake belt is adjustable by means of the tensioning lever apparatus between at least three different pre-tensionings.

A round baler includes a pick-up unit for picking up crop material from the ground, a baling chamber which receives the crop material from the pick-up unit, and a press mounted within the baling chamber for forming a bale during a bale formation cycle. The baler also includes a binding unit for dispensing a binding material for binding the bale, a tailgate displaceable by an actuator from a closed position at the beginning of a bale formation cycle to an open position to dispense the bale after the binding cycle. A sensor detects a first tailgate position after the bale formation cycle and before the binding cycle, and detects a second tailgate position after the binding cycle and before displacing the tailgate to the opened position. A controller is responsive to the sensor by determining a tailgate position change between the second tailgate position and the first tailgate position.

A round baler includes a bale chamber in which a round bale can be produced, and a wrapping device with which a completely pressed round bale can be wrapped with a first film in the bale chamber, and a feed device for introducing the first film into the bale chamber. The round baler also includes a feed point at which the first film can be fed to the bale chamber, and an ultrasonic sensor which is arranged at the bale chamber. The ultrasonic sensor is arranged at the bale chamber in such a way that with the ultrasonic sensor it is possible to determine whether the film is present on a surface of the round bale.

A blade rotor includes a mower disk, at least one mowing blade, at least one bearing pin mounted on the mower disk for pivotable mounting of the mowing blade, and a spring plate arranged on the mower disk for retaining the mowing blade on the bearing pin. In order to facilitate maintenance work when replacing the bearing pin, the invention proposes to provide a mounting hole in or on the mower disk, into which mounting hole the bearing pin can be screwed from a side of the mower disk facing away from the spring plate, wherein a threaded region and a retaining region are formed on the bearing pin, and the retaining region can be introduced through the mounting hole and brought into engagement with the spring plate when the bearing pin is screwed in.

A mower-conditioner is provided having guide elements that protrude into the crop material flow. The guide elements make it possible to influence the direction of the trajectory of the cut crop material. Each guide element can be mounted on at least one component of the mower-conditioner by way of the least one holder. At least one component contains openings, through which at least one holder can be inserted into and/or fitted in the component.
