Power machines with implement carriers that can sense the proximity of an implement to the implement carrier with a plurality of sensors. Such sensing is indicative of the likelihood of an implement being positioned adjacent to the implement carrier. In some embodiments, a sensor detects whether a locking mechanism is activated.

Implement carrier

Disclosed are front entry cabs, and power machines with front entry cabs, having a door that is moveable between opened and closed positions and a display oriented in the cab to provide information to the operator both while the door is in the opened and closed positions. In the opened position, the door is positioned within an operator compartment of the cab above the operator seat and below a top of the cab. The display is positioned to not interfere with the door, door linkages, or operator joystick control.

Disclosed are front entry cabs, and power machines with front entry cabs, having a door that is moveable between opened and closed positions. In the opened position, the door is positioned within an operator compartment of the cab above the operator seat and below a top of the cab. A linkage system defines the travel path of the door between closed and opened positions. The linkage system is configured to minimize interference with operator visibility.

Cab door

Power machines such as excavators with control inputs that are configurable to control various functions on the excavator. In some modes, selected control inputs are manipulable to control the position of a lift arm, bucket, and house position. In other modes, the same control inputs are used to control travel and an implement on an undercarriage.

Control system for power machine

A clamp implement and a control system for controlling the clamp implement such that the clamp implement can be caused to follow motion of a bucket or other primary implement in a selected mode of operation. In another mode of operation, the claim implement can be caused to move independently of the primary implement.

Clamp implement for excavator

A method of controlling a lift arm actuator and a tilt actuator to control positioning of an implement carrier coupled to a lift arm of a power machine. An activation signal is received from an enabling input device. A lift arm control signal is received from a lift arm control input commanding movement of the lift arm. The lift arm actuator is controlled responsive to receipt of both of the activation signal and the lift arm control signal to move the lift arm to a target lift arm position and to move the implement carrier to or maintain the implement carrier at a target implement carrier orientation relative to a gravitational direction.

System and method for positioning a lift arm on a power machine

Power machines such as excavators having a house that rotates about a vertical axis on an undercarriage are disclosed. In certain conditions, a control system on the excavator can limit rotational movement of the house and/or pivoting of a swing function on a lift arm to contain work performed by an implement to a predefined range or work area.

System and method for defining a zone of operation for a lift arm

Disclosed embodiments include implement carriers and power machines with implement carriers. In some embodiments, the implement carriers have a mounting structure having first and second mounting structure surfaces with first and second pluralities of mounting features located along the first mounting structure surfaces, respectively. Each of the second plurality of mounted features is aligned with one of the first plurality of mounting features. The mounting structure is configured to receive an implement in a first attitude and a second attitude different from the first attitude.

Implement carrier and implements

Disclosed seat belt assemblies or mechanisms include a seat belt guide which positions the seat belt for convenient ingress and egress by an operator, but in a position which reminds the operator to fasten the seat belt. The seat belt guide is configured to be stiffer in one direction of movement to maintain the metal tab of the seat belt at a raised position to one side of the operator seat, for example at a position adjacent to an operator joystick or control, but to allow the guide and the seat belt to be moved across the operator seat (and operator) for buckling.

Seat belt

A mechanical linkage between operator input devices and actuators including a junction having a first portion operably coupled to an operator input device and a second portion operably coupled to an actuator. The first and second portions of the junction are connected when a cab is in an operating position and disconnected when a cab is in a service position. When connected, the first and second portions create a solid connection between the operator input device and the actuator. When the first and second portions are disconnected, the operator input will be not be operably coupled to the actuator. Movement of the cab to the operating position will cause the first and second portions to become connected and movement away from the operating position will cause the first and second portions to become disconnected.
