An electric vehicle may include at least one motor configured to transmit a drive output. A motor-generator unit may be configured to supply the at least one motor with electrical power. The motor-generator unit may include an internal combustion piston engine, which may include a crankshaft configured to rotation about an axis of rotation, and an electrical generator that may be drive connected to the piston engine. A control device may be in communication with the motor-generator unit. The control device may be configured to vary a generator torque of the electrical generator during a rotation cycle of the crankshaft in response to a crankshaft angle.

Electric vehicle

The present invention relates to a cam drive () having a camshaft and having cams ()arranged thereon and having at least one rocker arm () which has a cam follower () and which is operatively connected by means of its first arm () to a plunger-like bearing () and by means of its second arm () to at least one gas exchange valve () of an associated cylinder. The cam drive () also has a device () for varying the lift of the at least one gas exchange valve (). Here, it is essential to the invention that the device () is embodied as a clutch device which acts between the plunger-like abutment () and the rocker arm ()and which has an actuating element () which is mounted so as to be rotatable about an axis () of the plunger-like abutment () at least between two positions, wherein a valve lift in a first, coupled position of the actuating element () is varied in comparison with a second, decoupled position.

Cam drive

The present invention relates to an adjustable camshaft (), which is connected to a crankshaft via a sprocket/belt pulley () and has a phase adjusting device () for adjusting the phase between the camshaft () and the crankshaft. The essential idea of the invention is that the phase adjusting device () comprises a planetary gear () having at least two sun wheels (and) disposed coaxially to each other and planet wheels () surrounding said sun wheels, wherein said planet wheels are rotatably supported on a planet wheel carrier () via a planet wheel axis (). Said planet wheel carrier () can be rotated in relation to the camshaft axis (), wherein a rotation of the planet wheel carrier () brings about a phase adjustment between the camshaft () and the drive.

The present invention relates to a device () for shutting down at least one cylinder of an internal combustion engine. The device () is connected to a rocker lever () which actuates an intake/exhaust valve () of the respective cylinder. In active cylinder operation, the rocker lever () executes an oscillating tilting movement about a pivot axle () which is situated in the area of the connection to the cylinder head (), whereas when the respective cylinder is deactivated, the rocker lever () is lifted by the cylinder head () and therefore its pivot axle () is shifted in the direction of the connection of the rocker lever () to the valve of the respective cylinder. It is essential to the invention here that the device () is arranged essentially between the rocker lever () and the cylinder head () and the device has a guide element (), a pivot axle element () displaceably mounted on the guide element () and a spring () stretched between two abutments ().
