A deburring apparatus includes (among other components) a frame and an elongated flat element connected to the frame. Rollers are adapted to support and rotate a vacuum belt around the apparatus. A perforation device is positioned and adapted to make perforations in the vacuum belt as the vacuum belt is rotated by the rollers. Making the perforations in the vacuum belt causes debris to remain in at least one of the perforations. The elongated flat element is positioned to contact the debris in the perforations.

Printed electronic devices are provided. In embodiments, such a device comprises a plurality of contact pads arranged in a pattern; a plurality of electrode traces arranged in another pattern, the plurality of electrode traces comprising a set of bottom electrode traces and a set of top electrode traces, each electrode trace in electrical communication with an associated contact pad of the plurality of contact pads; a plurality of memory cells, each memory cell located at an intersection of a pair of electrode traces of the plurality of electrode traces and comprising a bottom electrode layer formed from a region of one of the bottom electrode traces, a top electrode layer formed from a region of one of the top electrode traces, and a ferroelectric layer between the bottom and top electrode layers; and a protective layer covering the plurality of electrode traces, the protective layer formed from a curable composition comprising an amine modified polyester (meth)acrylate, a (meth)acrylated amine oligomer, a (meth)acrylate monomer, a clay mineral, and a photoinitiator.

Protective layers for high-yield printed electronic devices

A coated, printed electronic device may comprise a plurality of contact pads arranged in a pattern, a plurality of electrode traces arranged in another pattern, the plurality of electrode traces comprising a set of bottom electrode traces and a set of top electrode traces, each electrode trace in electrical communication with an associated contact pad of the plurality of contact pads, a plurality of memory cells, each memory cell located at an intersection of a pair of electrode traces of the plurality of electrode traces and comprising a bottom electrode layer formed from a region of one of the bottom electrode traces, a top electrode layer formed from a region of one of the top electrode traces, and a ferroelectric layer between the bottom and top electrode layers, and a protective layer covering the plurality of electrode traces and extending laterally beyond each edge of each electrode trace to provide a buffer zone surrounding each electrode trace, the buffer zone extending from an end of each electrode trace to cover a portion of each associated contact pad in an overlapping region, wherein each contact pad also has at least one uncovered edge.

Coated printed electronic devices exhibiting improved yield

Disclosed herein are methods for reducing drooling, wetting or adhesion on a front face of an inkjet printhead configured for ejecting aqueous ink. The methods including disposing an anti-wetting, low adhesion coating onto a surface of the inkjet printhead front face, wherein the anti-wetting, low adhesion coating is a reaction product of a reactant mixture including a triisocyanante and a perfluoropolyether diol compound having an ethyoxylated spacer; and ejecting a drop of an aqueous ink having a surfactant from the printhead, wherein the aqueous ink drop exhibits a contact angle of greater than about 40&#xb0; and a sliding angle of less than about 30&#xb0; with a surface of the coating on the inkjet printhead front face.

Anti-wetting, low adhesion coatings for aqueous ink printheads

Exemplary embodiments provide anti-wetting, low adhesion coatings for use with aqueous ink jet printheads. Exemplary embodiments directed to aqueous ink jet printheads with the anti-wetting, low adhesion coating on the front face thereof and methods for reducing drooling, wetting or adhesion on a front face of an ink jet printhead configured for ejecting aqueous ink are also described.

An endless belt comprising a polyimide-based substrate layer. The polyimide-based substrate layer is made by curing a mixture comprising a polyimide precursor and a polyalkylene glycol silicone phosphate. Described is a transfer assist blade for an electrostatographic machine. The electrostatographic machine includes a charging station for charging a copy sheet to attract a developed image from an image bearing surface to a copy sheet wherein said charging station includes a corona generating device. The transfer assist blade includes a wear layer having a surface resistance of greater than about 10ohms. The transfer assist blade includes an interior layer having a thickness of from about 150 microns to about 500 microns. The transfer assist blade includes a back layer including a polyethylene terephthalate film having an outer layer including cross-linked aziridine/carboxylated polyester at a weight ratio of from about 0.5/99.5 to about 40/60 and a conductive component, wherein an outer surface of the back layer has a surface resistance of from about 1&#xd7;10ohms to about 9.99&#xd7;10ohms.

Transfer assist blade

The present teachings provide a fuser member. The fuser member includes a substrate layer. The substrate layer substrate layer includes a paraformaldehyde modified polyimide. An intermediate layer is disposed on the substrate layer. A release layer is disposed on the intermediate layer. A method of manufacturing the paraformaldehyde modified polyimide is disclosed.

Fuser member

The present teachings provide a fuser member. The fuser member includes a substrate layer that includes a polyimide having dispersed therein a plurality of nanofibrillated cellulose particles. An intermediate layer is disposed on the substrate layer. A release layer is disposed on the intermediate layer.
