Some implementations are directed to methods and apparatus for identifying a content submission form on a webpage, recognizing submission of content by a user via the content submission form, and transmitting verification data in response to submission of the content by the user. The verification data may include content data indicative of at least some of the content submitted for publication via the content submission form.

Systems and methods related to identifying authorship of internet content

A system for remote validation of user interactions for client-side scripting may include one or more processors and memory. The processors may receive a transcript of user interactions recorded during an execution of a client-side script and a corresponding score. The transcript may include an indication of a relative time when each user interaction was recorded. The processors may execute the client-side script and recreate the user interactions during the execution at the relative times indicated by the transcript, may calculate a second score for the user interactions based at least in part on at least some of the user interactions and the relative times when the user interactions are recreated during the execution of the client-side script, and may provide the second score when it is equivalent to the received score, otherwise may provide an indication that the user interactions are invalid and/or that the received score is invalid.

Remote validation of user interactions for client-side scripting

A system, computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for confirming authorship of documents is presented. A first document hosted on a first website of a first domain is accessed, the first document being linked to a second document through at least one link, and a respective link including a first predefined authorship attribute asserting authorship of a respective document including the respective link by a respective entity associated with a respective target document of the respective link. Authorship of the first document by an entity associated with the second document is conditionally confirmed when the second document includes a second link to the first website of the first domain, the second link including a second predefined authorship attribute indicating that the entity associated with the second document is an author of or contributor to content at the first website of the first domain.
