A cellular sandwich panel containing boron nitride powder and a manufacturing method. The sandwich panel has a first skin and a second skin between which is positioned a cellular core with cells opening out on both sides respectively in the first skin and the second skin, the cells being separated from one another by side walls. The side walls of the core comprise an aramid-, carbon- or glass-fibre-based reinforcement, a polymeric reinforcing resin and boron nitride powder.

An aircraft having a fixed structure, an engine pylon, and a cowling system, a slider bearing a rear cowl and able to move in translation from an advanced position to a retracted position, a displacement system having, on either side of a median plane of the engine pylon, a guide as one with the fixed structure, a sliding element as one with the slider and sliding along each guide disposed on the same side, and a support as one with the fixed structure and having a blade parallel to the translation direction and on which a surface parallel to the translation direction of the slider rests. The presence of the mobile cowl ensures, inter alia, easy access to the inside of the engine pylon and to the systems that are housed therein.

An engine pylon for an aircraft and comprising an inverted U-shaped upper spar with two lateral walls, a U-shaped lower spar with two lateral walls, where the free ends of the lateral walls of the spars are adjacent, an arrangement to the free end of a lateral wall of one spar to the free end of the lateral wall of the other spar, and ribs between the spars where each has a top end fixed to the lateral walls of the upper spar and a bottom end fixed to the lower spar. Such an engine pylon thus offers a reduced number of component parts and a single row of fixings per side, enabling a saving in weight and in assembly time.

A shackle for fastening an aircraft engine including a ball joint with a pin including a ring including a first bore and a sleeve assembled in the first bore and having a second bore configured to receive the pin and the diameter of which progressively increases to have a flared inner surface at each of its ends, the fastening shackle being arranged such that a spherical outer surface of the ring bears an anti-friction coating produced on a region extending beyond the contact region with the body of the shackle, this first region being bordered by rims forming a projection around the coating, and/or the second bore bears an anti-friction coating on a region extending beyond its contact region with the pin, this region being bordered by rims forming a projection around this anti-friction coating, at the ends of the flared inner surface.

An engine pylon has a primary structure fastened between an engine and an aircraft wing and a cowling system having a front set of fixed cowls, a rear cowl, a displacement system having a first structure as one with the rear cowl and having a first slide mechanism, and a second structure fastened to a fixed structure of the wing and having second slide mechanism. The slide mechanisms cooperate so as to realize a sliding connection and to move the rear cowl in translation from an advanced position to a retracted position. An immobilizing system locks the rear cowl in the advanced position.

An engine pylon for mounting a jet engine beneath a wing of an aircraft, the engine pylon having a primary structure having two internal lateral fittings that face one another and a rib that is fastened between the two internal lateral fittings and a primary box that at least partially surrounds the primary structure and comprises a first part made from a composite material.

A primary structure of a strut for bearing an aircraft power plant including a front part intended to be joined to an aircraft power plant and a rear part intended to be joined to a structure of the aircraft, the front part being formed from a box including an upper longitudinal member, a lower longitudinal member, and lateral panels. A main rib is located at an interface between the front part and the rear part. The rear part is formed from a set of four connecting rods. The first end of each connecting rod is joined to the front part of the primary structure and the second end of each connecting rod is joined to a separate interface for fastening to the structure of the aircraft. This allows a substantial simplification of the primary structure of a strut for bearing an aircraft power plant, which can have advantages in particular in terms of cost, mass, and simplicity of implementation and integration.

In order to reduce engine deformation, the subject matter disclosed herein provides an assembly for an aircraft, comprising an aircraft rear section, an engine, a nacelle, and a mounting strut for mounting the engine on the rear section, the assembly also comprising mounting for mounting the engine on a rigid structure of the strut, the mounting comprising two engine mounts designed to react the axial thrust forces generated by the engine. According to the subject matter disclosed herein, the rigid structure of the strut comprises a first portion partially enveloping the engine, this first portion comprising an external skin forming part of an external aerodynamic surface of the nacelle, and the two engine mounts are arranged diametrically opposite each other at the rear of the rigid structure, being attached to the first portion.

An aircraft engine assembly including a set of rear engine attachments comprising a first shackle hinged on a bracket secured to the engine and on a bracket made as one piece with one of the two side panels, the shackle being oriented along a vertical direction, a second shackle hinged on a bracket secured to the engine and on a bracket made as one piece with the other one of the two side panels, the second shackle being oriented along the vertical direction, and a third shackle for transversally transmitting loads, inclined relative to the vertical direction and hinged on a bracket secured to the engine and on a bracket secured to the primary structure.

An aircraft fuselage frame including a central element adapted to be located within the perimeter of the fuselage, and two lateral extensions projecting outside the perimeter of the fuselage from both sides of the central element that are a portion of a longitudinal structure of a lifting surface. In order to allow better introduction of forces into the box section of an aircraft engine attachment pylon, the subject matter herein discloses a pylon including a primary structure forming a box section on the outside of which a body of the engine attachment is arranged, the latter also being equipped with shackles that are articulated on the body and can be articulated on the engine. According to the disclosure herein, the body has, at at least one of its ends, a one-piece fitting including a first joining portion on which one of the shackles can be articulated, and also a second joining portion that is fixed to the box section and passes into the latter.

In order to optimize the bulkiness of a primary structure of an aircraft engine attachment pylon and thus make it easier to install under the wing and as close as possible to the pressure face thereof, the disclosure herein provides an assembly in which the engine comprises a rear part arranged under a wing element equipped with a wing box, the primary structure being made up of the following independent elements: a first and a second side beam arranged one on each side of a vertical mid-plane of the engine; and an intermediate structure through which the vertical mid-plane of the engine passes and which is situated some distance from each of the first and second side beams.

In order to decrease the overall mass of an assembly for an aircraft, including an engine attachment pylon and an engine attachment, the pylon according to the disclosure herein has a primary structure forming a box section equipped with internal transverse stiffening ribs, one of which is produced in one piece with at least a part of the body of the engine attachment.

In the case of an aircraft aft portion equipped with an engine mounting structure passing across the fuselage, assembly of the aft portion presents problems caused by the moving of the box structure of the mounting structure through lateral openings in the fuselage. In order to overcome these problems, a method of assembling an aircraft aft portion is proposed, in which method the box structure of the engine mounting structure is inserted into the fuselage through a top opening extending from one side of the fuselage to the other across a vertical midplane of the fuselage such that the top opening opens to the top and to the sides of the fuselage.
