Systems and methods for an intracanopy horticultural lighting fixture. In aspects, a horticultural luminaire has an edgelit lightguide or optical conduit extending from a housing with its major dimension extending along longitudinal axis L, and one or more endcaps coupled to respective lateral edges, endcaps being convex curved about one or more axes transverse the longitudinal axis to prevent catch points. The endcap can be coupled to the housing to hinder separation of the lightguide. In another aspect a horticultural luminaire has an edgelit lightguide generating an output having downwardly directed peaks at about +/&#x2212;30 degrees from vertical. Light output is preferably batwing shaped and symmetric. Another aspect provides a method for intracanopy lighting having an entirely planar optical conduit, a major extent of the optical conduit disposed along its longitudinal axis (L), and supporting the optical conduit, preferably its entirety, below an upper plant canopy.

Systems and methods for an intracanopy horticultural lighting fixture. In aspects, a horticultural luminaire has an edgelit lightguide or optical conduit () extending from a housing, a lightguide length extending along longitudinal axis L, and one or more endcaps () coupled to respective lateral edges extending along a height axis H, the endcap having a lightguide-receiving socket spaced () adjacent a lightsource housing-receiving socket (). Systems and methods for collapsible lighting fixtures are disclosed. In aspects, a horticultural luminairehas first and second light fixturescoupled in movable relation between storage and deployed positions by a coupling elementapplying a retarding torque. In aspects, a horticultural luminaire has an articulated cableway extending through hingecoupling light fixturesand guiding a cable entering from the exterior into cable passageways in light fixtures, thereby lessening a cable pinch point during rotation and deployment.

Apparatuses and methods disclosed herein include an electrical connector. The electrical connector may include an upper cap configured to engage with an end cap, the upper cap including an upper cap insert that is independent from the upper cap in at least one axis of motion. The end cap may include one or more contact blades configured to receive an insulated cable. As the upper cap engages with the end cap the upper cap insert may press the insulated cable onto the one or more contact blades such that the one or more contact blades are in electrical connection with one or more conductors in the insulated cable.

A culinary tool is provided including a handle and a housing that pivot relative to one another during a forward stroke of the handle to incrementally move, and optionally ratchet, a ram within the housing toward a cutting grid, thereby extruding food through the cutting grid. A cutting blade, joined with the handle distal from the pivot, travels along a blade path near the cutting grid to mince the extruded food. The blade can be joined with the handle at a cantilevered connection, and can be flexible so that as it moves along the blade path, a portion of the blade flexes to allow the blade to cut the extruded food material without binding as the blade moves across the cutting grid. The blade can include one or more sledded feet that project outwardly from the blade and that guide the blade near the cutting grid in a non-binding manner.
