A system of cameras includes a first camera and a second camera. The first camera captures a first image with a first total number of objects and a first total number of edge objects. The second camera captures a second image with a second total number of objects and a second total number of edge objects. A controller determines the total number of objects by summing the first total number of objects and the second total number of objects and subtracting the first total number of edge objects. In another implementation, the first camera and the second camera can have a coordinate system used to assign coordinates to objects identified in a first image from the first camera and a second image from the second camera. A controller can compare the coordinates of the objects to identify duplicates to determine an accurate total number of objects.

Camera vision system overlap management without network coordination

A system for locating an object in a volume of space can include a communication device of the object disposed in the volume of space, where the communication device broadcasts a first communication signal into the volume of space, where the first communication signal includes a first identification of the object. The system can also include multiple integrated sensor devices disposed in the volume of space, where each integrated sensor device includes at least one sensor, at least one receiver, and at least one transmitter, where the at least one receiver of a subset of the integrated sensor devices receives the first communication signal, where each of the subset determines a signal strength of the first communication signal. The system can further include at least one access controller that receives at least one second communication signal sent by the subset.

An automated commissioning and floorplan configuration (CAFC) device can include a CAFC system having a transceiver and a CAFC engine, where the transceiver communicates with at least one device disposed in a volume of space, where the CAFC engine, based on communication between the transceiver and the at least one device, commissions the at least one device.

The controller can further send a notification when a measurement falls outside the at least one range of acceptable values. The notification can state that the housing is moved out of position and requires attention.

The system can include a electrical device disposed at a location in the volume of space and including a receiver, a supplemental service module, and a controller, where the receiver has a communication range, where the controller controls the timer, and where the electrical device performs a primary function. The system can also include a user device of a user disposed within the communication range, where the user device includes a beacon that sends at least one communication signal. The controller, upon the receiver receiving the at least one communication signal, can initiate, using the at least one supplemental service module, the at least one supplemental service that is unrelated to the primary function of the electrical device.

A mounting system includes a threaded body that is configured to securely retain an electronic component therein. The threaded body includes a core that defines an inner cavity extending therethrough, and a bottom flange that extends radially outward from an annular bottom edge of the core. The threaded body includes a plurality of fins that are substantially vertically oriented and extend radially outward from the core. The outer edges of the plurality of fins are indexed to collectively form a helical structure that defines a screw thread. The mounting system also includes a nut member that defines a center cavity that extends therethrough and includes an inner flange that defines a complementary screw thread. The mounting system is installed in the ceiling tile by removably coupling the nut member to the threaded body such that the ceiling tile is clamped between the bottom flange and the nut member.

A light fixture can include at least one light fixture component comprising at least one light source that emits a first level of fixture light. The light fixture can also include at least one sensor that measures a first total light amount at a first time of a first day, where the first total light amount includes the first level of fixture light and a first natural light amount. The light fixture can further include a controller coupled to the at least one sensor and the at least one light fixture component, where the controller controls and communicates with at least one sensor. The controller can further control the at least one light fixture component based on the first total light amount measured by the at least one sensor at the first time of the first day.
