A method for dynamically scaling scanned images is disclosed. For example, the method is executed by a processor and includes receiving a scanned image, determining that the scanned image is larger than a previously scanned image, adjusting the previously scanned image to be smaller than the scanned image, generating an adjusted previously scanned image, and causing a display to show the scanned image and the adjusted previously scanned image.

The system parses through the job tickets associated with all user selected jobs and collect information about specified job parameters and their values. The job ticket options available in all output processing and devices specified and the collected job ticket information can be displayed. The user selected job can be filtered according to the job ticket values selected by the user. The system presents an interactive summary view for the user selected job parameters and values. After the user is satisfied with the job programming of all jobs, which can be reviewed during pre-processing (e.g., within a DFE or automated prepress system) the user can submit the jobs for printing.

A system and related method for creating an efficient shipping strategy for shipping printed material is disclosed. The system includes a communication component, an analysis component and a shipping component. The communication component communicates printing instructions. The printing instructions include image data and at least one job parameter. The analysis component communicates with the communication component and determines at least one physical property of a print job when formed according to the printing instructions. The shipping component generates shipping information in accordance with the at least one physical property.

System and method for creating an efficient shipping strategy for shipping printed material

A fault clearance system and method for a graphical user interface. The system includes a plurality of video objects, each video object corresponding to a respective fault of a reprographic or printing system. Each video object further includes a plurality of video segments corresponding to fault clearance steps. Similarly, a plurality of text objects correspond to respective faults of the reprographic or printing system, and each text object further includes a plurality of text steps, one corresponding to each video segment of the respective video object. A bi-directional linkage system links each of the video segments to one of the text steps and each of the text steps is linked to one of the video segments. A video window displays the video segments, and a text window displays one or more of the text steps of a selected text object. The video window displays a video segment linked to a highlighted text step in the text window and the highlighted text step in the text window is linked to the video segment in the video window.
