The present invention relates to a finger grip () arranged to be connected to a syringe barrel having a plunger and a plunger rod for driving said plunger. The finger grip comprises a body having a lower side with finger supporting surfaces () for supporting fingers of a user during handling and an engagement member () being moveable between an inactive position where the engagement member is arranged not to engage with the plunger rod of the syringe barrel and an active position where the engagement member is arranged to engage with a grooved surface on the plunger rod of the syringe such that feedback is given to a user as the plunger is moved relative to the finger grip. An activation member () for moving the engagement member from said inactive position to said active position is built-in into the finger grip.

Track-indexed syringe

An exchangeable cartridge for an injection device is disclosed. The cartridge () comprises a container () and a plunger () connectable with a plunger rod (). The container receives the plunger rod from its rear end. The plunger comprises a rod connector () connectable with a front portion (), and the rod connector has a base portion (), an outer wall section (), an inner wall section (), and a rod stop portion () encircled by the inner wall section. The inner wall section comprises several tongues () protruding rearwards from the base portion and defining an entrance opening () for the plunger rod. The inner wall section receives a front portion () of the plunger rod through the entrance, and the tongues are provided with retaining portions arranged to retain the front end portion during retraction of the plunger rod within the housing.

Exchangeable cartridge for an injection device

A method for lubricating an injection needle when used multiple times at a single occasion to penetrate a support, the method including the steps of: a) depositing a layer of a lubricating composition on the support; b) penetrating multiple times the layer of the lubricating composition deposited in step a) with the injection needle, thereby providing a lubricated injection needle having a deposited layer of the lubricating composition thereon.

Lubrication of an injection needle

A syringe including a barrel, a plunger moveably arranged within said barrel, and a plunger rod for driving said plunger. A first engagement member is arranged at the plunger rod, such that a longitudinal movement of the plunger rod yields a rotational movement of said first engagement member. The first engagement member includes a grooved surface. A second engagement member is arranged at the barrel to engage with said grooved surface of the first engagement member, wherein the first engagement member is arranged to move relative to the second engagement member, such that feedback is given to a user as the plunger rod is moved relative to the barrel for driving said plunger. The first engagement member is arranged at said plunger rod with a predetermined play there between.

Syringe

A syringe including a barrel, a plunger moveably arranged within said barrel and a plunger rod for driving said plunger is provided. The syringe includes a first engagement member arranged at the plunger rod such that a longitudinal movement of the plunger rod yields a rotational movement of said first engagement member, said first engagement member including a grooved surface, and a second engagement member arranged at the barrel to engage with said grooved surface of the first engagement member such that feedback is given to a user as the plunger rod is moved relative to the barrel for driving said plunger. Wherein, for a given distance D travelled by the plunger rod relative to the barrel, a point of the grooved surface of the first engagement member moves a distance d, wherein d&#x2265;D.

A syringe including a barrel, a plunger moveably arranged within the barrel and a plunger rod for driving the plunger, and an engagement member arranged at the barrel to engage with a grooved surface on the plunger rod. This will create feedback given to a user as the plunger rod is moved relative to the barrel for driving the plunger within the barrel. The barrel and the engagement member are arranged relative to each other such that the engagement member, due to the engagement with the grooved surface of the plunger rod, will move solely in a direction generally perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the plunger rod as the plunger rod is moved relative to the barrel.

An injection device for delivering a liquid composition, including a generally elongated housing, arranged to hold an exchangeable cartridge containing the liquid composition. The housing includes a drive device, and a plunger rod connected with the drive device and connected to a plunger within the cartridge, when the cartridge is held at the housing, for driving the plunger within the cartridge. The plunger includes a rod connector connected with a front end portion of the plunger rod. The rod connector comprises a rod stop portion, wherein there is a longitudinal play between the plunger rod on one hand and the entrance opening and the rod stop portion on the other hand, thereby enabling the front end portion to move back and forth between the entrance opening and the rod stop portion without moving the plunger.

Injection device

A needle device including a housing. The housing includes a first housing element provided towards a proximal end of said needle device and a second housing element provided towards a distal end of said needle device. A cutting element having a sharp proximal end is arranged at a proximal end of said first housing element. A cannula having a blunt proximal end is fitted to the second housing element and an opening for the cannula is provided at the proximal end of the first housing element. The first housing element and the second housing element are moveable relative to each other between an extended position where the proximal end of the cannula does not extend beyond the proximal end of the cutting element and a compressed position where the cannula extends through the opening of the first housing element and past the proximal end of the cutting element.

An eye fluid applicator comprising a) a hand grip part having a distal end and a proximal end, the distal end and the proximal end defining a axis therebetween and a distal direction and a proximal direction along said axis, b) a container, or a seat for a container, having a bottle part and a delivery orifice for delivery of a stream or drops, the orifice defining a fluid delivery axis and a fluid delivery direction, along said axis, from the bottle through the orifice, the container being arranged with its orifice closer to the proximal end than the distal end, and c) an eye cup part having a rim and a cavity, the rim defining a contact plane, a contact axis normal to said contact plane and a contact direction, along said contact axis, from the cavity towards the rim, the eye cup being arranged at the orifice and the proximal direction of the hand grip and the contact direction of the eye cup forming an acute angle therebetween.
