A hearing device plug connector may include a first connector component and a second connector component, wherein the hearing device plug connector includes a latching mechanism for securing the first connector component and the second connector component against unintended disconnection, wherein the latching mechanism includes a catch and a complementary latch component which are in latching engagement when the first connector component and the second connector component are connected, wherein the catch is moveable against a spring force from a latching position into a release position when connecting or disconnecting the first connector component and the second connector component, and wherein in the latching position the catch can engage with the complementary latch component and in the release position the catch can disengage from the complementary latch component. The hearing device plug connector may further include a sealing element for providing a seal between the first and second connector components.

A cable for a hearing device is provided. The hearing device may have an in-the-canal part with a receiver and a behind-the-ear part with an electronic module. The cable may be adapted to connect the in-the-canal part and the behind-the-ear part. The cable may be a flexible printed circuit board having a plurality of conductor tracks. An end of the flexible printed circuit board is populated with at least one of a sensor, an LED and a push button.

The present invention proposes a hearing device with a housing and a receiver module which comprises a shell () with a cavity having an opening (), wherein at least part of the shell () forms part of the housing, and wherein an electro-acoustic transducer, comprising a motor assembly () and an acoustic assembly () including a membrane, is arranged within the cavity, the acoustic assembly () being disposed within the shell () such that the cavity is divided into a front chamber () and a back chamber (), the motor assembly () being disposed within the back chamber () or the front chamber () and being operatively coupled to the membrane, and the front chamber () being in acoustic communication with the exterior of the shell () via the opening (), wherein the shell () has an outer surface individually shaped according to a measured inner shape of a section of an ear canal of a user of the hearing device. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing such a receiver module is presented.

The present invention provides a tip-plate assembly for arrangement at a proximal end portion of a hearing device to be worn at least partially within an ear canal such that said proximal end portion faces towards an ear drum. Said tip-plate assembly comprises a tip-plate () having a seating aperture (), a receiver module () having a sound output port () at a front end (), and a suspension element (). Said suspension element () at least partly envelopes said receiver module () at said front end () and said receiver module () is mounted in said seating aperture () by means of said suspension element (). Said tip-plate assembly may further comprise a microphone module ().
