The contact surface () has a convex curvature which has a radius of curvature that is at most equal to a closest distance from that point to the main axis. A width of the contact surface () is less than r/2n. The working force applied on each working ledge () is at least P&#x2212;L&#x2212;r/2n, where P=107 Pa and L is the contact surface length.
