A mobility device () comprising: a main frame (), drive wheel swing arms () pivotally connected to the main frame (), drive wheels () connected to a respective one of the drive wheel swing arms (), wheel motors, each wheel motor being configured to drive a respective drive wheel (), a rear wheel swing arm () pivotally connected to the main frame (), a rear wheel () connected to the rear wheel swing arm (), and an actuating device configured to control a rear wheel swing arm angle between the rear wheel swing arm () and the main frame () independently of control of the wheel motors.

Mobility device

A mobility device () comprising: a main frame () having a central longitudinal axis which coincides with the median plane of the mobility device (), an elongated body support member () which has a central longitudinal axis (At) that is contained in a median plane of the mobility device (), the body support member () being pivotally connected to the main frame () via a medial pivot connection (), and an elongated rotation transfer member () rotatably connected to the body support member (), wherein the rotation transfer member () has a central longitudinal axis (A) which extends transversally relative to the central longitudinal axis (At) of the body support member ().

The present disclosure relates to a tilt assembly () for a powered wheelchair (), comprising: an elongated base member () provided with an axial channel, a lifting member () configured to be received by the base member () and to move rectilinearly in the channel, between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the base member (), a tilt frame () pivotally connected to the lifting member (), the tilt frame () being configured for mounting a seat assembly () thereto, and an actuator arm () pivotally connected to the base member () and to the tilt frame (), the actuator arm () being configured to be actuated between a retracted actuator position and a fully extended actuator position, wherein the tilt frame () is configured to obtain a perpendicular orientation relative to a central axis () of the lifting member () when the lifting member () is in the retracted position and the actuator arm is in the retracted actuator position and to be inclined relative to the central axis () when the lifting member () is in an extended position and actuator arm is in the retracted actuator position, to thereby provide a tilt functionality.
