A pivot motor for a hair clipper is provided, including a stator with a plurality of laminations, a bobbin located in operational relation to the stator and having a coil of wire wound around the bobbin, an armature being configured for driving a hair clipper moving blade at one end, and having at least one magnet at an opposite end, the armature having a pivot point, and the motor being configured for operation between 2.5 and 4.2 Volts.

An appliance charging stand is provided, including a housing with an upper portion defining a receptacle for an appliance, a base connected to the upper portion and having a peripheral edge. A swiveling jack defines a power cord connection socket and is rotatably secured between the upper portion and the base to swivel about a vertical axis between a first position and a second position.

A hair clipper includes a motor with a rotary output shaft, a bladeset including a stationary blade and a moving blade configured for reciprocation relative to the stationary blade, a drive system configured for transferring motion from the output shaft to the bladeset, and including a driving member moving linearly along an axis transverse to a longitudinal axis of the clipper.

An interlocking stand for storing and charging a rechargeable appliance such as a hair trimmer or hair clipper having a rechargeable battery includes a structure for supporting the appliance for storage. The supporting structure has at least one electrical contact for connecting to the appliance and a structure for providing power to the contact. The interlocking stand is also provided with structure that interlocks the stand with at least one other stand.

A hair clipping device includes a housing, a bladeset engageable upon the housing and including at least one stationary blade and at least one moving blade configured for reciprocal movement relative to the at least one stationary blade. The stationary blade has a first cutting edge and a second cutting edge, the at least one moving blade including a first moving edge configured for reciprocal movement relative to the first cutting edge, and a second moving edge configured for reciprocal movement relative to the second cutting edge. The housing defines a cutting location for the blades and the bladeset is rotatably engageable on the housing between a first position in which the first edges are employed, and a second position in which the second edges are employed. The housing encloses an apparatus for creating a vacuum, and defines a vacuum intake.

A hair clipper includes a handle portion having a drive end with a first coupler formation, and a blade assembly. The blade assembly includes a housing at least partially enclosing a reciprocating blade and a fixed blade, and having a top, bottom, and at least two sides joining the top and bottom. Integrally joined to and extending away from the bottom of the housing is a second coupler formation for engaging the first coupler formation. The first and second coupler formations form a releasable connection which inhibits movement of the blade assembly with respect to the handle portion when the two coupler formations are engaged.

A hair clipping device includes a housing, a blade chassis engageable upon the housing and having a bladeset including a stationary blade and at least one moving blade configured for reciprocal movement relative to the stationary blade. A comb assembly is configured for releasable attachment to the blade chassis and includes a comb base and a comb member. The comb member is selectively slidably adjustable relative to the comb base between a retracted position and an extended position. An adjustment mechanism is provided for selectively adjusting the comb member between the extended position and the retracted position, the adjustment mechanism having a handle and being configured so that movement of the handle will cause extension or retraction of the comb member relative to the comb base. In a hair clipping device, a housing encloses an apparatus for creating a vacuum, and has a vacuum inlet. A comb assembly is provided which is engageable on the housing and configured for deflecting hair clippings into the vacuum inlet.
