A kamado-style grill assembly includes a vessel, a fire bowl, and a unit extending through an opening of the vessel for positioning below an opening of the fire bowl. The unit may include a gas burner configured to radiate heat into the fire bowl. In such examples, the grill assembly may further include a heat spreader removably coupled to the unit The heat spreader is formed at least partially of a thermally conductive material to absorb heat radiated from the gas burner and spread heat away from the gas burner. In other examples, the grill assembly may additionally and/or alternatively include a support bracket removably coupled to the fire bowl. The support bracket extends across at least a portion of an opening of the fire bowl for supporting a structure. Other example kamado-style grill assemblies and methods of installing components of kamado-style grills are also disclosed.

Kamado-style grill assemblies including heat spreaders and/or support brackets

A grill including an upper shell and a lower shell is provided. The lower shell defines an opening there-through, and the upper shell and the lower shell together define a cooking chamber. A pellet burner is adapted to fit in the opening in the lower shell. The pellet burner includes an air duct having a first end and a second end. The first end is positioned outside of the lower shell and the second end is positioned inside of the lower shell when the pellet burner is fitted in the opening in the lower shell. The pellet burner includes a fan positioned to blow air through the air duct and through the second end of the air duct, and a pellet box configured to hold a plurality of pellets. An auger moves the pellets to a position adjacent the second end of the air duct that contains a hot rod.

Pellet grill

An apparatus for supplying gaseous fuel to a kamado-style grill is disclosed. The kamado-style grill includes a vessel and a fire bowl positioned within the vessel. The vessel and the fire bowl each have an opening. The apparatus includes a gas burner insertable through the opening of the vessel for positioning below the opening of the fire bowl, and a housing substantially covering the opening of the vessel and including one or more openings for allowing air to pass into or out of the kamado-style grill. Other example apparatuses and grill assemblies for receiving the apparatuses are also disclosed.

A charcoal grill includes a vessel configured to hold and burn charcoal for cooking food. The charcoal grill may include a receptacle moveable between a first position in which the receptacle is positioned for collecting ashes from charcoal burned in the vessel and a second position in which the receptacle is separated from the vessel for disposal of the collected ashes. Additionally, or alternatively, the vessel may define a passage extending from an exterior side of the vessel to an interior side of the vessel for permitting a starter device to be inserted into the passage for igniting charcoal within the vessel. Additionally, or alternatively, the charcoal grill may include a vent system including at least one vent opening extending through a portion of the vessel, a vent cover movable with respect to the vent opening between a closed position and an open position, and at least one calibration associated with the vent cover between the closed position and the open position.

A gas-air flexible tubing assembly for use for interconnecting a supply of gas, such as bottled gas, to the burner of a cooking grill, the flexible tubing formed of helical coiled wire, and coated with a flexible and expandable polymer, interconnects with, at one end, and air-gas intake tube, by means of a threaded connection, and connects, at its opposite end, by means of a threaded connection with the downward extension of an adapter, for securement of the assembly to the underface of the burner element of a gas grill.

A fire sound simulator includes a random sequencer which produces random signals. The sequencer is connected to a sound synthesizer which transforms the sequencer's signals into random sounds. The synthesizer is in turn connected to a speaker which receives the sounds from the synthesizer for outputting the sounds. The simulator alternatively includes a recording stored on a ROM chip. The simulator may be activated by a light sensitive switch.

A side cooker apparatus for a gas-fired grill which is detachably secured at one side of the grill by a pair of substantially parallel, spaced apart bars which are attached to the framework of the side cooker apparatus and extend into a pair of correspondingly spaced apart channels which form part of a framework for the gas-fired grill. A safety barrier may be provided for retaining cooking utensils on the side cooker.

Side burner attachment for gas-fired grill

A self-contained gas light control module is disclosed as including a tubular housing with a main tubular gas line extending through the housing and a normally open electro-mechanical valve in the gas line to permit flow of gas therethrough at night. During day light hours, a solar cell is activated to close the normally open electro-mechanical valve and shut-off the main tubular gas line; however, a smaller by-pass gas passageway or line is connected around the electro-mechanical valve to permit a smaller amount of continuous gas flow around the electro-mechanical valve, when closed, for low pilot flame burning of the gas light during day light hours.

A gas fired cooking grill having a twin burner element initially adapted for dual gas supply lines is disclosed as including an adaptor manifold for converting the twin burner element to a single burner element for a single gas supply line source. The adaptor manifold includes an enclosed chamber which is mounted in sealed engagement to the burner element and has an adjustable mounting for connection to a single gas supply line source.
