Illuminated poster frame with a frame box including a front frame, side panels and a rear panel, the frame box including a front clear panel. The top panel of the frame box has a slit to removably retain an inner frame that houses a poster. The inner frame has a front frame portion and a rear frame portion to removably retain the poster. The poster is printed on transparent of translucent material capable of transmitting light so that the entire poster is illuminated. The inside of the frame box includes a formed sheet having a plurality of recesses that each retains an amber LED. A translucent sheet placed in front of the LED holding sheet diffuses the light emanating from the LED's. A power source such as a battery supply or a wall pack transformer powers the LED's.

In combination, a composite construction comprising a load-bearing substrate, an impermeable liner, and disposed therebetween a circulatory system defined by a network of cells having side walls which are generally in lateral orientation to the liner and the load-bearing substrate, at least some of said side walls having apertures therein whereby at least some adjacent cells are in communication with each other, and means for circulating a fluid through said circulatory system.

An alkali metal silicate foam composition comprising preferably sodium silicate, cementing agent such as sodium silicofluoride, gelling agent such as linoleic acid and filler such as glass fiber mixed with water and blowing agent to provide foams having high strength, high water resistance and low shrinkage upon curing. Amides and halo-alcohols are used as gelling agents in preferred compositions for exceptional strength and water resistance. Vermiculite and perlite are preferred fillers for a low shrinkage foam composition.
