In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a head unit of a movable barrier operator is provided including a motor for moving a movable barrier and a first circuit board operable to provide power to the motor. The head unit includes a fire-resistant container that contains the first circuit board. This permits the electrical components of the head unit that utilize higher voltage, such as 120 volts, to be provided on the first circuit board and contained in the fire-resistant container. The head unit further includes a second circuit board outside of the fire-resistant container and operably coupled to the first circuit board. Because the second circuit board is outside of the fire-resistant container, the second circuit board may contain electrical components of the head unit that operate at lower voltages, such as at or below 24 volts.

The present invention is an articulating hand power tool which in one embodiment includes a head portion including a head housing configured to articulate with a main housing, a bit holder rotatably positioned within the head housing, and a lighting assembly configured to emit a first elongated beam pattern from the head portion.

Embodiments of the present invention disclosed herein present forms of a method and mechanism for a power tool lock-off, wherein accidental activation of the power tool may be inhibited. Pressing a lock-off release button on the tool housing induces a locking member to move from a first position to a second position, allowing a trigger to access a power switch within the housing. Various forms and methods of lock-off mechanisms are enabled.

The present invention is an articulating hand power tool which in one embodiment includes a main housing extending along a longitudinal axis, a head portion including a head housing configured to articulate with a main housing along a plane in which the longitudinal axis lies, a motor positioned within the main housing, and a lighting assembly including (i) an elongated housing portion operably connected to the head portion, and (ii) an elongated lens enclosing the elongated housing.
