A smoke generator for anti-burglar purposes includes a canister holding means for holding a canister for chemicals to be used to generate smoke wherein the smoke generator further includes a smoke deflector arranged below the position of the canister for even distribution of generated smoke, and wherein the smoke deflector have a smoke deflector cavity of sector shape. The smoke generator is provided with a cartridge for the canister to ease replacement of used or expired canister. The smoke deflector is provided with a residual collector to prevent residuals and debris from littering the room where the smoke generator is used.

It comprises a charging unit () providing after a charging process sufficient power for igniting and driving said smoke generating canister (), a switching unit () connected to said charging unit () and to a first pole () of said smoke generating canister () for releasing power from said charging unit () to said smoke generating canister (), and a connecting unit () connected to a second pole () of said smoke generating canister () for allowing power to flow through said smoke generating canister (), wherein activation of both said connecting unit () and said switching unit () during an overlapping time period is required for activation of said smoke generating canister (). A method comprises applying a charging signal a charging input of the driver circuit (), applying a control signal to a connect input of said driver circuit (), and applying a trigger signal at a trigger input of switching unit ().

Method and a device for controlling and powering a smoke generator

Jamming detection device () and method, which scan one or more frequency bands () and, if jamming is detected in said frequency bands (), transmits an alarm signal through an ultra narrow band network (). Preferably, both an ISM network () connecting a control panel () and at least one peripheral (), and a GSM network () connecting the control panel () and a back end service (), are scanned. Also preferably, the ultra narrow band network () is implemented over the same frequency band () as the ISM network () connecting the control panel () and the least one peripheral ().
