A method and system of deploying, creating and certifying the 'virtual presence' of a user at a location other than the actual location of the user that verifiably associates a power of attorney or agency contract and a 'representing entity' to (1) establish the authority of a 'representing entity' to act as if the user were physically present at the remote location, and (2) submit the &#x201c;representing entity&#x201d; to the jurisdiction of the remote location, even though the user is at a different location and only virtually &#x201c;present&#x201d; at the remote location. The representing entity could be an animate object or device located at the remote location, such as a robot, drone, or vehicle, or a &#x201c;presence&#x201d; that only exists electronically, commonly referred to as an &#x201c;avatar.&#x201d; Certification of the virtual presence is achieved by associating a unique identifier of the representing entity with a certifying document or record that includes a power of attorney or agency contract that identifies both authorized actions by the representing entity and restrictions based on the jurisdiction in which the representing entity is empowered to act, and recording the certifying document or record by hashing and encrypting the unique identifier and document, storing the certifying document or record in a blockchain ledger, and/or storing the certifying document or record in a trusted and protected database.

Method for deploying, creating and certifying virtual presence

An augmented reality method and system enables sponsors within a defined geographic area to insert enhanced augmented reality objects into navigable views of a geographic area to form 'communities' searchable by a common name or identifier. Users of the method and system situated outside the geographic area may then explore the community by entering the name or identifier of the community, navigating between images containing geolocated scenes taken from or representing the geographic area or community, and interacting with the augmented reality objects positioned within the images.

A system and method for processing, storage, distribution, and interaction with electronic images created or captured by mobile devices having network communications capabilities, such as smartphones, allows a user whose image-displaying device includes enhanced viewer software to use an image displayed on the image-displaying device as a portal for communication with others who have interacted with the image, including authors and facilitators of the image. Watermarking and security measures are provided to enable source and content verification of a displayed image so that user morphing of imagery can be tracked to maintain stability of image-based interaction and so that malicious imagery tamper can be prevented.

System and method for creating, processing, and distributing images that serve as portals enabling communication with persons who have interacted with the images

A method, system, and processor-executable software for processing images or video captured by a smartphone or other digital image capture device for subsequent validation and authentication captures not only the image, but also metadata relevant to the authenticity of validity of the image, such as position, time, camera movement and orientation, image parameters, and so forth. The image is watermarked and both the watermarked image and the metadata, as well as a symmetric key used in the watermarking, are digitally signed and transmitted or uploaded to a web server or authentication centric entity for authentication and storage. When a third party submits an image to the web server or authentication centric entity, the submitted image is compared with the stored watermarked image for authentication and validation of the submitted image, and the metadata is then retrieved to enable analysis of the contents of authenticated and validated image.
