A vertical door latch assembly includes a housing and a bolt movably attached to the housing having a catch portion. A drive motor is located within the housing and is configured to selectively move a lock assembly between a locked position preventing movement of the bolt and an unlocked position allowing movement of the bolt. A controller is in electrical communication with the drive motor and is configured to direct the actuator lock assembly between the locked position and the unlocked position.

A hub assembly for a door handle includes a hub body that extends along a longitudinal axis and has a first end portion including a spindle recess and a second end portion including a handle attachment protrusion. A spindle slideably received within the spindle recess in the first end of the hub body. A spring at least partially located within the spindle recess on the hub body and in engagement with the spindle.

A vertical door latch assembly includes a bolt that has a catch portion located adjacent a distal end of the bolt. A latch has a retention feature for engaging the catch portion of the bolt. An electro-mechanical locking assembly secures the latch between a locking position preventing movement of the bolt and a non-locking position allowing movement of the bolt. A controller is in electrical communication with the electro-mechanical locking assembly and is configured to direct the electro-mechanical locking assembly between the locking position and the non-locking position.

A handle assembly includes a hub body that extends along a central longitudinal axis that has a first end portion that includes a first set of handle adapter engagement features and a second set of handle adapter engagement features. A handle adapter includes at least one of a first set of hub engagement features for engaging the first set of handle adapter engagement features or a second set of hub engagement features for engaging the second set of handle adapter engagement features. A handle engages both the handle adapter and the hub body.

An access control system includes a controller having a credential analyzer, a lock controlled by the controller, and a bezel. The bezel has a power jack electrically connected to the credential analyzer and lock such that the credential analyzer and lock can be operatively powered by an external power source through the power jack.
