A sourcing-provider-implemented, electronic-commerce, communication-network method for controlling acquisition-access to electronically-deliverable, affinity-interest deliverables in portions of which rights are held both by a sourcing provider and by a contributing network communicant. The method includes (a) establishing an electronic, network-connected, sourcing-provider-associated-and-controlled catalogue designed to contain at least one such deliverable, (b) vetting the entrepreneurial talent of at least one network communicant relative to the creation, catalogue-placement, and network-acquisition-promotional offering to others, by that one communicant of such a deliverable, whereby, through deliverable-creation and catalogue-placement thereof, the vetted network communicant becomes a contributing network communicant, (c) authorizing the vetted network communicant to become a contributing network communicant, and to create, to place or have placed, and to offer to other network communicants, deliverables-acquisition network access to such a catalogue-placed deliverable, and (d) rewardingly incentivizing such offers.

Electronic-commerce, communication-network method

A system for teaching plural, different, short-vowel sounds, in their intrinsic forms, in the context of associated short-vowel-sound words. The system incorporates, for each such sound, an associated pair of relatively rotatable, foreground and background word-fragment carriers&#x2014;the former in each pair carrying but a single, first-category, readable, word-ending word fragment having within it the vowel whose sound is associated with the carrier pair, and the latter in each pair carrying a plurality of second-category, readable, word-beginning word fragments, each dedicated to working in teaching cooperation with the single word fragment carried on the associated foreground carrier to combine readably with that first-category word fragment to form a complete, short-vowel-sound word which is correctly pronounceable utilizing the associated short-vowel sound. All word-beginning word fragments end with the same, common consonant.

Short-vowel intrinsic-sound learning system

A P2P (peer-to-peer) business and commerce-enhancing method including the steps of (a) identifying an active P2P network which is characterized with peers having a defined affinity interest in the exchange of at least category-A information, such as digital music song files, and (b) employing that at-least category-A information-exchange affinity interest as a carrier vehicle and growth engine for the promotion, within that network, of collateral income-generating transactions between a peer and a party who may be inside or outside the network. Of central importance to such commerce enhancement, or growth, as promoted by practice of the invention is that such growth is driven by network-internal, peer-group enthusiasm, linked with imaginative peer entrepreneurship in the engaging of peer-to-peer file-sharing behavior.

Peer-to-peer affinity-group commerce method and system

An electronic early recognition and confirmation system generally in learner-useable book-form structure including (a) pages, each including at least one lesson-specific question, and for each such question an associated field containing a plurality of nominally undistinguished, learner-selectable, image-based answers among which there is at least one best answer, (b) with respect to each such question, an invitation to a learner to respond to that question by interacting in a defined way with any selected one of the relevant field-associated answers, and (c) power-ready, electronic, interaction-response structure embedded in the book-form structure, operable, when a learner interacts with a selected answer in the relevant field, to produce a light and/or sound correctness-confirming response of one style when the selected answer is the best answer, and a light and/or sound noncorrectness-announcing response of another style when the selected answer is another, incorrect answer.

Early learning book system with internal, electronic media activity, such as lighting and sound activity

Image compositing apparatus and methodology for the creation, in a defined volume of three-dimensional space, of a composite organization of plural images/visual phenomena, including at least one projected real image, displayed in formats including (a) front-to-rear, (b) side-by-side and (c) overlapping and intersecting, adjacency. The apparatus incorporates different unique arrangements of visual sources, and optical elements including concave reflectors, beam splitters and image-forming/image-transmissive scrim/screen structures. In one important modification of the system, which does not necessarily require compositing, a projected real image is derived from an image-producing data stream containing three-dimensional image cues selected from the group consisting of shading, occlusion, perspective, motion parallax, size vs. depth, light (chroma value) vs. depth and definition vs. depth. In a further important modification of the invention, a system is proposed which allows a viewer/user to interact directly with a projected real image, in a manner allowing the manipulation of one or more characteristics or aspects of the image.
