A neck pillow for supporting the head of a user comprises left, right, and rear portions so as to be generally U-shaped. The neck pillow may include an inner frame which may be made of a material more rigid and denser than an outer material of the pillow so as to provide support. The left and right portions may include a chin support or protrusion so as to increase user comfort. Pillows according to the present disclosure may also include anchor points on each side for adjustment of the degree to which a closure mechanism attached to a connector such as a drawstring can be tightened. A closure mechanism which may be attached to the drawstring portions may include internal components that can prevent or make more difficult disconnection via horizontal force, and may also include magnets for connection of the left and right sides thereof.

A travel pillow for supporting the head of a person when seated comprises a generally U-shaped frame having two side members and a rear member, and a padded generally U-shaped cushion fixed with the frame. In one embodiment, the pillow includes a plurality of cushions each fixed along the frame. The frame and cushion may include a plurality of mutually-aligned ventilation apertures therethrough to cool the person's neck and head. The frame may include a plurality of connectable, size-adjustable, or hinged segments for allowing the pillow to be collapsed for storage or transport. In one embodiment, the frame is replaced by a plurality of rigid grommets fixed about each ventilation aperture, or a pair of lateral frames at side sections of the pillow. A travel pillow includes a resilient inner frame having a rear portion and two side portions, and U-shaped outer cushion fixed about the inner frame and including a rear portion and two side portions. Each side portion, and optionally the rear portions, includes at least one transverse air apertures therethrough. Each side portion of the inner frame further includes a forward end. The side portions may each include a drawstring aperture at the forward end for receiving a drawstring having two halves, each of which being fixed at a proximal end thereof at the drawstring apertures and being mutually and selectively fixable at distal ends thereof at one part of a two-part mechanical fastener. A flexible cover that has an opening therethrough into which the inner frame and the outer cushion are inserted may be included that has at least one ventilation area through which air may travel.

Travel pillow

A travel pillow includes a resilient inner frame having a rear portion and two side portions, and a U-shaped outer cushion fixed about the inner frame and including a rear portion and two side portions. Each side portion, and optionally the rear portion, includes at least one transverse air aperture therethrough. Each side portion of the inner frame further includes a forward end. The side portions may each include a drawstring aperture at the forward end for receiving a drawstring having two halves, each of which being mutually and selectively fixable at one part of a two-part mechanical fastener. A flexible cover that has an opening therethrough into which the inner frame and the outer cushion are inserted may be included that has at least one ventilation area through which air may travel.

In one embodiment, the present invention provides an impact protection device including a base member, a cushioning layer secured to a peripheral edge of the base member and an impact shield operatively attached to an outer surface of the base member. The impact shield may be deflectable and/or moveable relative to the base member, and may be attached to the base member at a plurality of discrete locations.

In one embodiment, the present invention provides a jock support short including a short member and an integrally-formed jock support member. The integral jock support member includes a pocket portion attached to a front portion of the short, which is configured to house a protective groin cup. At least two elongate members extend along opposing sides of the pocket portion and may intersect or meet at a crotch portion of the short such that the pocket and/or protective cup remains secured over a user's groin region during athletic or other physical activity.
