The present invention relates generally to a load center. More particularly, the invention encompasses a generator ready load center (GRLC). The present invention is also directed to a novel generator ready load center (GRLC) that operates as a standard load center but is ready to accommodate an automatic transfer switch (ATS) for a standby generator, or a manual transfer switch (MTS) for a portable generator. Further the generator ready load center provides an automatic and manual transfer between primary and secondary power sources. The generator ready load center solves the problem of dangerous back-feeding between the primary power source and the secondary power source.

Certain exemplary embodiments can comprise a system comprising a first bracket, which can be adapted to be coupled to a first pole. The first bracket can comprise a collar defining a cavity, which can be adapted to receive the first pole. The system can comprise a second bracket, which can be adapted to be coupled to a second pole. The second bracket can comprise a collar defining a cavity, which can be adapted to receive the second pole. The second bracket can be adapted to be rotateably coupled to the first bracket via a hinge. The second bracket can be adapted to be releaseably coupled to the first bracket via a substantially non-destructively removable fastener.

Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system that can comprise one or more brackets adapted to be coupled to a panel. The bracket can define a collar adapted to slideably couple the panel to a pole. The bracket can be adapted to restrain rotational motion of the panel about a longitudinal axis of the pole.

A method of preventing vibration loosening of a clamping screw of a circuit protection apparatus is provided. The circuit protection apparatus has a conductor receiving member including a conductor receiving opening for receiving an electrical conductor therein. The conductor receiving member has an aperture extending from a surface thereof into communication with the conductor receiving opening . An overall extent of the aperture includes threads. The method provides a clamping screw having a threaded shaft . The threaded shaft has a surface feature in the threads thereof near an end of the shaft. The clamping screw is inserted into the threaded aperture until the surface feature is in interference engagement with threads of the threaded aperture to hold the clamping screw in the threaded aperture, with the end of the shaft being disposed to permit access to the conductor receiving opening such that the clamping screw need not be backed-out from the threaded aperture to provide access to the conductor receiving opening
