Pump unit () comprising an electrically driven hydraulic pump () for pressurising a hydraulic actuating system. The pump unit () comprises a hydraulic pump () in pump chamber () of a pump housing (). The pump () is driven by an electric motor () which includes a motor rotor body () and an assembly of field coils () and magnets (). A clearance (C) is provided around the motor rotor body () which is diverging in the axial direction from a small to a large diameter, such that a rotation of the motor rotor body () forces hydraulic fluid to flow towards the larger diameter. The fluid outlet () at the larger diameter of the clearance allows an exit of the hydraulic fluid, such that a fluid flow is generated which reduces hydraulic friction inside the pump unit to render an increase in pump capacity.

Pump unit with conical motor chamber

A hydraulic motor pump unit for pressurising a hydraulic fluid in a hydraulic circuit. The motor pump unit includes a motor having a motor stator holding a circular array of coils and a motor rotor having a motor rotor body having an outer circumferential rotor surface holding a circular array of magnets. The motor rotor body is positioned within the motor stator holding the magnets opposite the coils. A pump is drivable connected to the motor rotor. A housing body provided with a pump chamber for housing the pump and a cylindrically shaped coil support for supporting the circular array of coils. The housing comprises at least one housing end cap which is connected to the coil support which housing end cap is provided with a fin pattern for an air cooling of the housing to an environment.

High voltage motor-pump unit

Hydraulic actuating device comprising a first and a second hydraulic actuator, which actuators have a first and a second connection for the supply and discharge of hydraulic fluid, which connections are in communication with a first and a second chamber, respectively, by way of a first and a second opening, respectively, in the cylinder space. The first opening of the second hydraulic actuator is in communication with the first opening of the first hydraulic actuator. The second opening of the second hydraulic actuator is in communication with the second opening of the first hydraulic actuator via a third connection. The third connection is in communication with the cylinder space in the first hydraulic actuator via a third opening. Damping means are achieved by a restriction of the outflow of hydraulic fluid via the second opening before the piston/piston rod assembly reaches the second end position.

Hydraulic actuating device

A hydraulic actuating device for a convertible top assembly of a motor vehicle. The actuating device comprises a hydraulic pump with an associated electric pump motor and one or more hydraulic actuators, each for driving an associated movable part of the convertible top assembly. The actuating device also comprises a control circuit for effecting a defined sequence of movements of the one or more actuators and feedback means, which are connected to the control unit, for feeding information relating to the sequence of movements of an actuator back to the control unit. The feedback means comprise means for measuring the electric power consumed by the pump motor, which means transmit a feedback signal to the control unit.

Hydraulic actuating device for a convertible top assembly of a vehicle

The present invention relates to a hydraulic actuating device for a device having a first and a second hydraulically moveable component. This actuating device comprises a first and a second hydraulic actuator, respectively, for moving the first and second moveable components. The first and second actuators each have a housing in which there is a space in which a piston and piston rod assembly can move in a reciprocating manner, with a piston and a piston rod which is coupled to the piston and projects out of the housing. The piston delimits a first working chamber and a second working chamber in the housing. The housing is provided with a first and a second connection, which are respectively in communication with the first and second working chambers in order to supply and discharge hydraulic fluid in order to displace the piston and piston rod assembly. The actuating device further comprises a connecting line which forms an open connection between the second working chamber of the first actuator and the first working chamber of the second actuator. The actuating device also comprises a pump having a delivery port and a suction port of the pump being connected to the reservoir, and valve means, having one or more actuable valves. The hydraulic actuating device is useful in controlling convertible tops of automobiles.

Hydraulic actuating device, in particular for a convertible-top assembly of a vehicle

A hydraulic actuating device, for a vehicle cover and an associated lock for locking the cover in the closed position, has a cover actuator and a lock actuator which each are provided with a first and second connection, which are respectively in communication with an associated first and second opening adjoining the actuator space. The cover actuator is provided with a third opening, which is connected to the second connection of the lock actuator. The first connection of the cover actuator and the first connection of the lock actuator are connected to a common connecting line with a single actuable valve, which in a first position connects the delivery port of the pump to the connecting line. The second connection of the cover actuator is in communication with the delivery port of the pump.
