An intervertebral stabilization implant and an intervertebral stabilizer insertion tool are disclosed. The insertion tool inserts the implant between the posterior peripheral regions of two vertebral bodies, and has elements allowing the insertion tool to position the implant and remove the implant if necessary. The insertion tool engages interior surfaces of an interlockable implant cavity to reduce the amount of space necessary to position the implant.

Peripheral vertebral body spacer implant and insertion tool

An intervertebral stabilization implant and an intervertebral stabilizer insertion tool are disclosed. The implant is inserted between the posterior peripheral regions of two vertebral bodies, and has elements allowing the insertion tool to position the implant and remove the implant if necessary, and a portion to receive bone-growth inducing material after the implant is in place. The insertion tool has elements for positioning the implant, and for controlling the depth of the implant.

Pivoting interbody vertebral spacer

A transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) implant to be placed in an intervertebral space includes a front member and a back member. The front member includes a first end having a hinge, a second end, a pair of lateral portions, a top wall and a bottom wall, an opening configured through the pair of lateral portions and a plurality of openings in each of the top wall and the bottom wall. The back member includes a first end having an arcuately-shaped attachment head comprising a receptor dimensioned and configured to accommodate the hinge of the front member, a second end, a pair of lateral portions, a top wall, a bottom wall and an opening configured through the pair of lateral portions. The top wall and the bottom wall of the back member further comprise a plurality of openings.

Maximum support TLIF implant

A surgical tool for inserting an implant in a vertebral body. The surgical tool includes a shaft with a shaft thread adapted to engage the implant, a piston coupled to the shaft thread to articulate the implant from a starting linear position to a final curvilinear position, an actuator coupled to the piston to adjust a position of the implant, and an annular structure surrounding the shaft to increase a stability of an end part of the implant on an impact of insertion. A screw attached to the piston may lock the end part of the implant. A lock lever may lock the position of the piston in at least one position, and a knob may disengage the implant from the surgical tool.

An interbody spacer implant assembly for interbody fusion in a vertebral body and a method of insertion comprises a plurality of links and an elongated connector mechanism adapted to retain the plurality of links and allow the plurality of links to articulate with respect to one another. An interbody spacer implant apparatus for interbody fusion in a vertebral body comprises a plurality of individually articulating links and a connector mechanism adapted to retain the plurality of links and allow the plurality of links to articulate with respect to one another, wherein the connector mechanism is dimensioned and configured to have a length-to-width ratio greater than a length-to-width ratio of each of the plurality of links. The apparatus may further comprise an insertion rod adapted to insert the plurality of links and the connector mechanism into the vertebral body.
