A vessel includes first and second portions that are non-permeable to a fluid and a third portion that is permeable to fluid. The first potion defines at least one exterior wall defining an exterior container. The second portion defines at least one interior wall defining an interior container encapsulated by the exterior container. The third portion is positioned between the at least one exterior wall and the at least one interior wall, is integrally formed with the first portion and the second portion, and has a porous structure with non-uniform connected porosity.

A method of tracking an engine cooler in an aircraft includes recording an orientation of the engine cooler as orientation N. Prognostic health management data of the aircraft is tracked. A maintenance check of the aircraft is performed based on the tracked prognostic health management data. Whether to rotate an orientation of the engine cooler is determined with an aircraft maintenance database based on the tracked prognostic health management data of the aircraft. A recommendation is provided by the aircraft maintenance database as to whether to rotate the engine cooler. The orientation of the engine cooler is recorded as orientation N+1.

Method of managing engine cooler maintenance schedule

A heat exchanger includes a first channel with at least one first wall for porting a first fluid and a second channel with at least one second wall for porting a second fluid. The heat exchanger includes a barrier chamber located between the at least one first wall and the at least one second wall such that a rupture of one of the at least one first wall and the at least one second wall does not result in mixing of the first fluid and the second fluid.
