A bed for a person is provided. The bed includes a frame, a deck, a mattress, a pair of head end siderails, and a pair of foot end siderails. The bed further includes a controller configured to be coupled to the head and foot end siderails.

A bed for a person is provided. The bed includes a frame, a deck including a seat section and a foot section movable relative to the seat section. The bed further including a mechanism that control movement of the foot section relative to the seat section.

Various embodiments of a patient removal system are provided for evacuating a patient during an emergency. The patient removal systems may be used to transport the patient while the patient is on a mattress, or the patient removal systems may be used to transport the patient without the mattress. The patient removal systems permit caregivers to transport patients out of danger or harm without requiring patient support devices to be transported along with the patients.

Foot controls for a bed

A walker apparatus having a frame configured to support a user above a floor thereunder and an upper body support pivotably coupled to the frame to move between a use position and a storage position is shown. The upper body support is adapted to support the forearms of a user and includes a first pair of grip handles. A second pair of grip handles is coupled to the frame spaced apart from the first pair of grip handles. The walker apparatus has a patient measurement device coupled to the frame to measure a vital sign of the user and indicate the measurement on a display. An IV support is coupled to the frame to support a medical device. A base module is configured to hold personal belongings or medical devices. The frame includes upright segments extending from the base module. A seat has a frame member and a seat member. The frame member has a back segment and a seat segment coupled to the back segment. The seat member has a support wall, an oppositely facing wall, a front section coupled to the seat segment, and a rear section coupled to the uprights for movement about a pivot axis between a use position and a storage position. The back segment and the upright segments cooperate to limit pivotal movement of the seat when the seat is in the use position.

A combination crib and high chair apparatus for supporting a child in a reclining position, and a seated position, respectively. The apparatus includes a deck having a head end, a foot end and generally parallel sides. Side rails are positioned adjacent the sides. End rail are positioned adjacent the ends of the deck. A seat is oriented adjacent one of the ends of the deck. The seat extends outwardly from the end. A base is coupled to the deck and the seat.

Crib apparatus

A bed enclosure for use with a hospital bed having a frame is disclosed having a shell and a skeletal structure configurable between an open position providing access between the interior and exterior of the shell and a closed position in which the shell forms a complete enclosure. Various pockets, pouches and slots formed in the shell are disclosed to facilitate display of documentary information, retention of personal items, access to controllers, passage of I.V. tubes, and receipt of bumpers or cushions. The bed enclosure is adapted to facilitate vertical adjustment of the intermediate frame relative to the frame of the bed and articulation of the articulating deck of the bed.
