An air compressor assembly includes a compressor configured to provide a source of compressed air and a manifold assembly removably coupled to the compressor and configured to distribute the compressed air to one or more pneumatic tools. The manifold assembly is configured to be coupled to the compressor via an air conduit when the manifold assembly is detached from the compressor so that the manifold assembly is operable at a location remote from the compressor.

An air compressor that employs splash lubrication to lubricate and cool a piston kit that includes a cylinder and a piston reciprocating in the cylinder. In one form, cooling channels can be coupled to or formed on the cylinder to direct the lubricant that is splashed onto the cylinder to drain in a desired manner, such as helically around the exterior of the cylinder, to more effectively cool the piston kit. In another form, the cylinder can include an annular flange that can be bigger in diameter than a remainder of the cylinder. The annular flange can be received into a counterbore in a cylinder block. A cylinder head, which can be fastened to the cylinder block, can apply a clamping force to the annular flange to clamp or fix the cylinder to cylinder.

The present invention is directed to a suitcase style air compressor assembly having an extensible handle bar assembly, a wheel assembly, and a integral storage container. When the extensible handle bar assembly is fully extended, the suitcase style air compressor assembly may be transported by utilizing the extensible handle bar assembly and the wheel assembly. When the suitcase style air compressor assembly reaches a worksite, the extensible handle bar assembly may be retracted so that the suitcase style air compressor assembly does not occupy a large space. The air compressor includes a storage container for storing air hoses, power cords, tools, and the like.

The present invention discloses an apparatus and method for protecting a condensate removal device from damage that may be caused when the condensate removal device comes into contact with foreign objects. The present invention discloses placing a shield around the condensate removal device to help prevent the condensate removal device from coming into contact with any foreign object. The present invention also discloses placing a removable cap around the condensate removal device and a condensate removal device that may recess within a mounting assembly.

A pump for a pressure washer. The pump includes a cam housing, a piston assembly disposed within the cam housing, a rotary shaft assembly disposed within the cam housing, a journal plate attached to the cam housing, a head assembly attached to journal plate and valve assembly operatively connected to the head assembly. The rotary shaft assembly includes a cam shaft, a vertically-extending oil tube partially disposed within a central portion of the cam shaft, a cam threaded onto the cam shaft and a thrust washer positioned adjacent the threaded cam. The piston assembly includes a plurality of pistons, preferably three, in mating contact with the thrust washer. Each piston includes a piston spring cap at one end, a spring disposed over the piston and engaging the piston spring cap, and a seal retainer having a low pressure seal at one end and a high pressure seal at the other end. The seal retainer includes an opening between the low pressure seal and the high pressure seal such that fluid passing through the high pressure seal is captured by the low pressure seal for recycling back into the head assembly. The head assembly, in combination with the valve assembly, forms a castellated assembly of a plurality of towers, preferably three, one for each piston. Each tower includes a low pressure valve assembly and a high pressure valve assembly that act as check valves. The low pressure valve assembly allows intake water to flow from the journal plate to a castellated tower channel. The high pressure valve assembly allows water to flow from the channel to the outlet fitting. The pressure washer can be mounted in either the vertical or horizontal orientation.
