A data storage layer provides enhanced data security. In one implementation, the data storage layer allows selective encryption of specific parts of data blocks, with decryption restricted to pre-determined entities. The selective encryption may be applied to parts of data blocks that are stored in blockchains, for instance, to provide fine grained control over which entities with access to the blockchain can decrypt and use the parts of the data blocks with the enhanced security.

Selective data security within data storage layers

A method for sharing data content is provided. The method includes aggregating requests to share data content across broadcast networks and re-broadcasting the data content based at least in part on the number of requests or a determined capacity of the broadcast networks.

Content sharing via mobile broadcast system and method

A method to create community channels is provided. The method includes defining a subset of channels from a broadcast network, associating one or more tags with the channels, and employing the tags to enable a community network from the broadcast network.

Community driven program access system and method

Apparatus and methods for distributing advertising content to a mobile device. An application is executed on a mobile device containing an advertising opportunity. Advertising content is requested from an advertisement syndication interface. A filtering constraint applicable to the advertising content request is identified and used to select and advertisement from a local advertising cache. The selected advertisement is rendered in a composite with rendering of content of the application.
