An apparatus for a vacuum cleaner for compensating air pressure fluctuations includes a main body through which an air flow is flowable in a flow direction, where the main body contains a passage opening, and a separating element, where the passage opening is separated from ambient air by the separating element. The separating element is movable such that, as a result of a movement of the separating element in a radial direction, a reservoir which receives an air volume is produced between the main body and the separating element such that a vacuum produced in the main body by the air flow is at least partially maintained.

Apparatus for compensating pressure fluctuations

An apparatus for receiving a functional unit for a power tool, wherein the receiving apparatus can be fastened to the power tool by way of a fastening mechanism. A second aspect of the invention relates to a method for fastening a receiving apparatus of this kind to a power tool. In the fastening mechanism, a rotatable insert part can be inserted into an opening of the receiving apparatus and can be moved from an unfastened to a fastened state by this rotational movement. In the fastened state, a hook of the power tool engages with a raised portion of the insert part.

A ring saw blade includes a flat annular support which has a side face and an outer circumference. One or more cutting elements are disposed along the outer circumference. An annular groove is recessed into the side face and has a radially inner flank and a radially outer flank. The radially inner flank is conical and a first cone describing the radially inner flank has a half opening angle of between 10 degrees and 30 degrees.

A ring saw includes a ring saw blade, a tool holder that guides the ring saw blade in a cutting plane, a motor, and a driving wheel where the ring saw blade is drivable in the cutting plane by the driving wheel and the driving wheel is coupled to the motor. A guide roller is disposed on a first side of the cutting plane where the ring saw blade is guidable by the guide roller from the first side. A guide roll is disposed on a second side of the cutting plane where the ring saw blade is guidable by the guide roll from the second side. The guide roll is disposed in a hood that is pivotable relative to the cutting plane.

A method for setting a gear in a transmission of a power tool, the power tool including an electric motor as well as a controller for setting the rotational speed of the electric motor. A transmission includes an operating device for selecting a gear in the transmission, a shift fork as well as an actuator, the operating device including a signal transmitter as well as a sensor for receiving a signal of the signal transmitter. The method includes: setting the operating device from a first position to a second position for selecting a gear in the transmission; detecting a signal by the at least one sensor according to the second position of the operating device; transmitting a signal to the controller; setting the rotational speed of the electric motor from a first value to a second value by the controller; positioning the operating device from the second position into a third position; detecting a signal by the sensor according to the third position of the operating device; transmitting a signal to the actuator; and setting the shift fork from a first position to a second position with the aid of the actuator for the purpose of changing from a first gear into a second gear.

A method for selecting a gear in the transmission of a power tool having an electric motor. The method includes the following steps of changing an operating device from a first position to a second position in order to select a gear in the transmission; detecting a signal via at least one sensor corresponding to the second position of the operating device; sending the signal to a controller; changing the rotational speed of the electric motor from a first value to a second value via the controller; changing the operating device from the second position to a third position; changing the stepping motor from a first position to a second position corresponding to the third position of the operating device; and changing a shift fork from a first position to a second position in order to change from a first gear to a second gear.

A handheld core drilling device includes a tool receptacle where the tool receptacle has a receiving sleeve and a tool receiving piece disposed in the receiving sleeve. A compression spring arrangement is disposed within the receiving sleeve. Exactly three equally spaced retaining tabs are formed on the receiving sleeve along a circumferential direction and each retaining tab has a respective stop surface that faces the tool receiving piece. Exactly three equally spaced bearing surfaces are formed on the tool receiving piece along a circumference of the tool receiving piece and each bearing surface faces a respective stop surface. Each of the bearing surfaces includes a stud with a stud surface where the stud surfaces in a radial direction are at most half as wide as the bearing surfaces in the radial direction.
