A device for restoring the surface of used lacrosse balls. Lacrosse balls are placed inside a chamber that is lined with an abrasive surface. The device can be placed within a typical clothes dryer machine and during the course of a normal drying cycle the surface of the lacrosse balls are restored to a desired characteristic tactile grip. The exterior of the device is cushioned to dampen impact with the inner surface of the clothes dryer and minimize the generation of noise during use.

Lacrosse ball resurfacing device

An orthopedic mobility scooter for persons with a compromised leg or foot comprising a frame for supporting the weight of an occupant in a sitting position and a leg rest for supporting the compromised leg. The healthy leg is used to propel the scooter with an unobstructed stride. Wheels are located at the front and rear of the frame. Handles attached to a steering column and connected to a front wheel control the direction of travel. A padded seat is positioned near the center of the frame. A horizontal rod extending perpendicular to the frame is used to connect a leg rest and a stabilizing front wheel. The front horizontal rod and rear axle can both be positioned to either side of the frame to accommodate either a left or right compromised leg or foot. The scooter has enough clearance and stability to surmount obstacles such as street curbs.

Sitting orthopedic mobility scooter

An interface for introducing a non-gaseous sample as a predetermined gaseous form into an accelerator mass spectrometer which comprises a nebulizer that receives the non-gaseous sample to provide a fine spray of the sample, a converter that receives at least a portion of said fine spray and converts the desired elements to the predetermined gaseous form and a flow line that transports the predetermined gaseous form to the accelerator mass spectrometer.

Sample introduction interface for analytical processing

An interface system for introducing a non-gaseous sample as a predetermined gaseous form into an analytical instrument which comprises a substrate that receives the non-gaseous sample and a directed energy source that heats at least a portion of said substrate containing the non-gaseous sample to convert the sample to the predetermined gaseous form.
