A pallet includes a top deck having a rectangular shape, a bottom deck having a rectangular shape, and spaced apart corner support blocks and spaced apart intermediate support blocks coupled between the top and bottom decks and forming a gap therebetween for receiving a lifting member. Centerline markings are carried by at least one of the top deck, the bottom deck, and the corner and intermediate support blocks so as to provide a visual aid to an operator of the lifting member.

A pallet includes a top deck, a bottom deck and spaced apart corner support blocks coupled between corners of the top and bottom decks and forming a gap therebetween for receiving a lifting member. Each corner support block includes a single column aligned with one of the corners of the top and bottom decks, a lower ledge extending from a bottom end of the single column and defining a lower perimeter of the corner support block, and an upper ledge extending from a top end of the single column and defining an upper perimeter of the corner support block. Exposed side surfaces extend between the upper and lower ledges. Each opposing outer block side surface has a pocket opening therein for also exposing the inner block receiving area. Each opposing inner block side surface is aligned with a pocket opening in a corresponding outer block side surface so as to form a pocket by covering the pocket opening.

A system may include structural components, and joining areas on the structural components where fasteners connect the structural components into a shipping platform. The system may also include a wrap positioned on each selected joining area of selected structural components where the fasteners connect the selected structural components together.

Shipping platform

A system may include a bottom deck to a shipping platform. The system may also include a component affixed to the bottom member opposite the shipping platform's top to lower static coefficient of friction between the component and a floor the shipping platform in its load bearing usage position is resting on.

Low friction shipping platform

A system may include a bottom deck to a shipping platform. The system may also include a block joined to the bottom deck, and a top deck joined to the block. The system may further include a T3 panel carried by the top deck that is structurally different from the top deck and does not extend to two ends of the top deck.

A method to improve a pallet may include joining into a pallet four C-brackets, a pallet-deck, a first bottom-deck member, and a second bottom-deck member where two of the four C-brackets insides face two of the other four C-brackets' insides. The method may also include sizing a port to receive load-handling equipment tines formed by the four C-brackets, the pallet-deck, the first bottom-deck member, and the second bottom-deck member.
