A ladder securing device for securing a ladder to a device attached to a vehicle for safe transport and security. The ladder securing device includes at least a first section and a second section. The first section includes a first base piece positioned upon a structure member. The first base piece comprises first and second side pieces whereon an upper piece is coupled to the first side piece. The second section comprises a second base piece and first and second side pieces. The first side piece of the second base piece includes an upper piece secured thereon. The second side piece includes a locking mechanism which may be comprised of both a securing arm and a locking arm, or just a securing arm, wherein the securing arm secures the ladder to the device while the locking arm may be locked to a locking arm receiver for locking the securing arm over the ladder to provide security against movement and theft. The ladder securing device includes a slide prevention device coupled to either the first or second base pieces, or to a securing arm.

Ladder securing device

A device for attaching a rope thereto, having a rope holding mechanism comprising a first and second pinching members, coupled together to form a tapered space that includes a bight section, and a wide section; and a resilient device, coupled to the holding mechanism proximate to the bight section. The resilient device having a securing portion that secures the resilient device to the holding mechanism; and a holding portion that releasably holds the rope to the holding mechanism. There may be a base plate, including: an attachment plate section, and a storage plate section. There may be to provide a rotatable hinge device, mounted between the attachment plate section and the rope holding mechanism, designed to rotate in a clockwise and counterclockwise fashion that is parallel to a surface of the base plate, and to rotate in an angle away from the surface of the base plate. There may be a support plate, coupled to the first and second pinching members, and having the resilient device mounted thereto so that the securing portion is positioned under the support plate, and the holding portion is positioned above the support plate. There may be a notch, positioned along the support plate to allow contact with the holding portion, having sufficient width to retain the rope therein. Additionally, there may be a holder, positioned on the storage plate section.

Tie down coupling system

The invention involves production of transgenic plants containing DNA encoding AC1/C1 wildtype and mutant sequences that negatively interfere in trans with geminiviral replication during infection. The transgenic plants produced by the invention are resistant to viral infection.
