Systems and methods can be utilized to align or provide targeting for a platform. One alignment system and method can receive first electronic data indicative of attitude of the platform and can receive second electronic data related to a position on the platform. The alignment system and method can provide third electronic data indicative of an adjusted attitude of the platform in response to the first electronic data and a slope vector or terrain data. The targeting system and method can use position differencing between a platform and a remote observer to aim at a target.

System and method for platform alignment, navigation or targeting

A method for operating a wearable computer using a user interface system having a touch pad includes changing the behavior of the wearable computer in direct response to gestures received at the touch pad. The gestures are not used for graphical user interface selections and are not used for cursor operations but rather directly invoke communication, navigation, machinery operation, or other primary device features or operations.

User interfaces for wearable computers

Systems and methods for displaying information on a targeting display are provided. A method comprises positioning a targeted object proximate a center of a targeting display image and providing a reticle below the target object. The reticle is configured to identify the targeted object to a user of the targeting display. The method further comprises providing a first plurality of data elements positioned along a vertical axis upon which the targeted object and reticle are also positioned. The first plurality of data elements include a range to the target, an azimuth to the target, and one or more error estimates relating to at least one of the range to the target or the azimuth to the target. The method further comprises providing a second plurality of data elements within a plurality of areas positioned proximate to one or more borders of the targeting display image.

Targeting display system and method

Systems and methods for coordinating fields of view are provided. Sensor data may be generated regarding movement in one or more planes and used as boundaries for the field of view. A geographic location may also be associated with the field of view. Fields of view from two or more geographic locations may be aggregated to determine a collective field of view. The collective field of view may be provided to an electronic display. In some cases, the field of view may be a field of fire associated with a ballistic weapon.

Field of view system and method

A finger control and data entry device that includes a retaining element adapted to fit on at least one finger of an operator. The retaining element has an outer mounting surface thereon. Pushbuttons are mounted on the mounting surface. A touch strip is mounted on the mounting surface. A controller is operably connected to the pushbuttons and the touch strip for the interface handling of a communications link. A communications link is operably connected to the controller to provide an output signal for use by an end system. Power is provided to the controller. Utilization of the pushbuttons in combination with the touch strip on the retaining element provides a finger-based system control. The inclusion of vibrating sensors within the device enables a direct means of information and/or status feedback.

Finger control and data entry device

A system and method of generating targeted position estimation of a remote target through a set of networked observers. The system has a global positioning system ('GPS') receiver for deriving a first observer's current location, a range finder for deriving elevation, range and azimuth information with respect to the target, an estimation engine for generating target data based on the derived information, a data receiver or a radio for receiving other target data from other observers and forwarding the other target data to the estimation engine. Finally the estimation engine correlates and combines all received target data to derive a final target solution.
