A keyboard-holding device detachably holds a keyboard to a stationary support. The keyboard is of the type having keys and a shell surrounding the keys. The shell has a front surface, a back surface, and a bottom surface. The keyboard-holding device has a first elongate member, a pivot, and a locking mechanism. The first elongate member has a first end, a second end, and a pivot located between the first and second ends. The locking mechanism is attached with respect to the second end for unlockably locking the first elongate member to a holder, said holder fixedly attachable to the support. A fulcrum is rotatably attached with respect to the pivot and fixedly attached with respect to the shell. A spring mechanism provides a restoring force tending to maintain the locking mechanism in locked engagement with the holder, but is manipulable to unlock the shell from the holder.

An improved lighted key assembly includes ridges located adjacent to the base and a ledge above the base. An LED, supported by the ledge, has leads which are mounted against the ridges so that an intermediate portion of the leads is bent around the bottom of the ridges. When mounted to the printed circuit board of a keyboard, the intermediate portions of the leads are in physical contact with contact pads on the printed circuit board to pass electrical current from the contact pads, through the leads, to the LED.

Lighted key module assembly

A motor energizing control and reversing circuit designed to be used on a power seat control in vehicles. The circuit includes a reversible motor that primarily drives suitable gear trains which effect seat movement in a plurality of directions and then momentarily reverses the motor so as to apply moving power to the gear train in an opposite direction to relieve pressure thereon and prevent a locked rotor condition in which the seat could not be moved.
